up for sale is my 2001 gmc 2500hd gmc seirra. i am the second owner of this truck and just bought it a little over a year ago. THE ONLY REASON I HAVE TO SELL THIS TRUCK IS BECAUSE I AM MOVING and could use a little extra money in this economy. this truck has the all powerful 8.1 liter engine, which translates to a 496 cu. in! dont let the big motor fool you. i got 13 mpg regardless. thats better than most 6 liters. the truck has the best automatic transmission on the market, the 5 speed allison automatic. this truck will haul anything you want it to. it has a brake control set up already on it! when i bought the truck i put brand new bf goodrich mud tires. although truck HAS NEVER BEEN IN THE MUD! i like to have the extra grip that these tires provide is my reason for mud tires. they are 245/75/17. the truck came with the aftermarket weld evo wheels when i bought it so i dont have the factory rims, but they do look very nice on the truck as you can see from the pictures. the truck has a aem brute force air intake and a brand new exhaust system including brand new catilitic converters. truck has a nice deep low tone which is not obnoxiously loud but will turn heads, just like any other big block gm engine. the truck has always had synthetic oil ran in it from the motor all the way back to the differental, even the original owner ran synthetic oil, and i am a firm beleiver in it also. when i first bought the truck i replaced the front and back windows because rocks chipped them when i had it hauled from california. and being from southern califorina it has NO RUST AT ALL! not even the beginging of any surface rust on the frame. dont let the miles scare you off gm trucks run forever just ask any mechanic. the interior is very good. no cracks in the dash or ripped or even worn seats. even though it does have the leather seats they show no sign of wear or rips, it also has a aftermarket cd player and is ready to put a sound system in it if you like. the truck also has new lights both front and back. with some of them being led. which are not cheap and i put a new factory grill on the truck, the only reason i did that was because the original one had chrome peeling off of it. the bed has a very nice spray in bed liner that is black in color. this is a really good and dependable truck. and i really hate to get rid of it. it has been the best vehicle i have ever owned, but as i said before im moveing and cant afford all the costs included right now with our great economy. so my loss is your gain. feel free to ask any questions and i will awnser them right away, you are welcome to test drive it as well if you are close by and wish to.
