I have a 1971 Volkswagen Bus/ Camper. This bus has been taken apart in preparation of a complete restoration. It may look awful but keep in mind all the outer parts for the getting ready to paint have been removed. There are several boxes inside the bus that hold all of them. The camper pop up top is really cool, has a cot up there to lay in. This bus has been in my garage for 4 years now, and it is very obvious that we are not the ones to make this classic become a reality, and it definitely deserves to be! It is kinda sentimental to us as my son's aunt gave it to him and there had been many fun rides in it. In the process of getting it ready the engine was stolen out of it. I know nothing about cars and have no idea what is under the hood. All I know is that before the engine was gone it was running, but has not ran in about 5 years. Sorry, the bus is in the garage and I tried to take as many pics at different angles to see it well enough. The pictures pretty much tell the story of the condition and show all the pieces in it. This was given to us as is, and has stayed that way. The body really does look to be in pretty good condition but the paint makes it look much worse. There is one spot on the side that may need some bondo but the rest should be pretty good. When we towed it here the tires held air long enough to get it here. Don't know how they are now.
