John's Great Cars, Inc. is proud to offer this incredibly rare 1965 Ford Falcon Sedan Delivery. This Falcon was sold to us by our best customer who has a true love of classic vehicles. This is one of just 649 Sedan Delivery models produced in 1965 and truly one of the last you will find in this condition. The car has been owned in our area since new and was originally owned by Clauser Office Supply who used the vehicle for business deliveries. Our customer obtained this Falcon from the gentleman who bought it from Clauser. There has been a considerable amount of work and restoration done to the car and we have plenty of receipts, records and documentation. The original 289 was replaced with a Ford Remanufactured 302 on September 4, 1997 and the specs are as follows as documented on the Ford paperwork: 5.0 Liter 302 CID High Output 270 Horsepower, 300 Foot Pounds Torque Forged Pistons, High Performance Head Gasket, High Tension Valve Springs, SVO Roller Cam, High Strenght Rod Bolts, Double Roller Timing Chain Balanced Internal Assembly, Minor Polishing and Porting of Exhaust Ports All New Roller Tappets, All New Pistons and Rings, All New Bearings, New Camshaft, New Oil Pump, New High Strength Rod Bolts, New Double Roller Chain, New Cam and Crank Gears, Installation Gasket Kit, All Engine Specifications Within Original Ford Guidelines The transmission is a four speed manual with Hurst Shifter. There is an Edelbrock Intake as well as Holley Carb. The interior is spotless and was refinished in black cloth with everything redone from the seats and headliner to the rear cargo area and door cards. The dash and gauges are all in excellent condition and you will absolutely love to show this car at shows and cruise nights. There are four American Racing "Torque Thrust" style wheels and Road Hugger tires. The paint is Sherwin Williams Ultra 7000 Basecoat/Clearcoat and in very nice condition. There are a few very minor spots which could use a touch up but they are so minor that I will let the next owner decide what he wants to do. The exhaust is dualled off and the car has an impressive and throaty sound. I'm sure there are some things that I missed so please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. This car is a blast to drive and always starts some great conversations with those who remember the Sedan Deilvery or have never seen one. We do have the original hood for the vehicle in the same paint as well as extra rear window glass and sevaral tail lights. The pinstriping on this Falcon is custom and done in paint, not vinyl. You can get in this Falcon and drive it anywhere and have a car that you can be proud to show and own.
