Vehicle Detail
This is a 1980 Chevrolet Corvette with automatic transmission that I have own for over twenty years. It has a NEW high-output crate 350 engine that has less than 2k miles on it. It has power steering and power disc brakes, also factory installed air conditioning. It has the old Freon A/C, but I have the switchover kit for the new Freon. It also has an AAMCO lifetime transmission and it just went through it annual inspection and fluid & filter change at AAMCO on 04-06-10. I put in Year One new seats and the carpet is in good shape. The car has Rally Wheels and a brand new set of four Indianapolis racing Indy 500 firehawk 255-60 tires. I put in a new heavy duty radiator when I replaced the engine, along with a new master cylinder when I did the brakes. . Two years ago replaced the dual exhaust mufflers. This year I replaced the battery and belts, oil change 5-12-10. The car is a registered classic and the insurance for full coverage is only $150 a year. You can’t beat driving a fast hot sexy sport car and paying only $150 a year for insurance! It can be modified easily for street racing since it is a registered classic and is exempted from most state emission inspections and state inspections. Car has never been in an accident and with a fresh coat of paint it would look brand new. On heater/AC console to switch from hot to cool, you need to pull up on the switch and slide it. It is the original switch (a new one cost about $100, but you only need to pull up on it, no need to buy a new one). I was going to paint the car before selling it, but since the paint is original and in good shape. I decide not to paint it and add in the cost, I will let the new owner decide if he or she wants to keep the original paint or to paint it (maybe flaming hot red). All lights, headlights, taillight ,turn-signals, hazard, and stuff are working. All gauges work except for rpm gauge. Power windows all work and flip up headlights. Windshield wipers work, radio cassette work Vehcicle vin# 1Z878AS401903 I own several old (make that classic) cars and the biggest cost and fear is the engine and transmission. You will not have to worry about that with this car. This car is just right for someone who want a stylish old car, but all new under the hood. Seller request $250.00 non-refundable deposit within 48 hrs Seller will assist in transportation arrangement for buyers who cannot come by and pick up car. Price of car is in United States currency. All payments must be cleared before vehicle is released.
