Relisted due to non-payment. Please do not bid unless you intend on paying for this car!!!!!!!!!! Up for auction is a 1996 Dodge Neon in truly great shape with just over 107,000 miles which is low for its age. Starting with the body, this car's paint has really held up well, it shines vibrant red on all the metal parts and other than some slight fading in the bumpers, it looks very clean. There are three rust spots that I'm aware of, the most noticeable of which is about a 1" diameter bubble on the hood. It hasn't gone all the way through, so it looks like something that a few hours of sanding and body filler would take care of just fine. There is also a small spot on the trunk and one on the passenger side rear fender just above the wheel. None of these spots have come through the paint. The only other thing to note is that the gas cap is a slightly different red than the rest of the car. You can see this in the pictures, I don't think its a big deal I'm just trying to list everything I can think of. The interior is solid, carpets have a little dirt in them that I couldn't get out with a vacuum, seats are in good shape for their age, although they do have a few stains in them, but I would imagine they would come out with a steam cleaner. This car has a Panasonic CD player in it which works just fine, however the front two speakers don't work. I'm not a genius with electronics but the speakers don't look blown so I'm guessing just a wiring issue. The engine is in great shape and is a strong runner, I've never had any problems with it starting, and the head gasket was replaced recently, so that's one expensive headache you won't have to worry about. The transmission shifts smooth, exhaust is solid, air conditioning blows cold, lights all work, tires have a good amount of tread left on them. Brakes are strong, the car is quiet, and it gets great gas mileage. Let the pictures do the talking, this is really a great car. I've tried to take some really detailed photos of the car, they're all clickable thumbnails out to a much larger photo size to show as much detail as possible. I know it's difficult to buy a car without physically kicking the tires, so hopefully these photos will do the car as much justice as possible.
