1987 Porsche 944 (NON-Turbo) Description: Dark Gray metallic (original color), looks almost Black with Tan interior. I have a folder of service records going from 1987 to 2008, this includes everything from various services, brake jobs, & misc repairs done over the years... This car has 145,xxx documented miles and has the records & CLEAN CARFAX to back it up. Condition: This car is not a show car nor pristine, however it's very clean. Being a 23 year old car, I find the car to be awesome. There are some minor blemishes to the paint (stone chips and very minor light surface scratches), but when considering the age of the car you should be somewhat open minded towards these things... The drivers seat has the most wear and tear and can either be replaced with a good used one, redone at a trim shop, or a nice seat cover... Engine/Tech: This car purrs and runs very well! No smoke or knocks from the motor, it has power, and has service records to verify that the car was well cared for... The 5 speed gear box shifts well through all gears and clutch feels good. Over all the car runs out and drives out fine and can be driven as it is. This is a 23 year old car and should be thought of as one, you can always find something to do on a classic car. My story: I bought this car a few months ago with 100% intentions on making another SCCA track car. But when I got the car home and looked at in my garage, the car was too nice to strip and tear down... The market is flooded with beater Porsche 944's and expensive & over priced "cream puffs". Finding a car with the detailed history and clean condition as this one is a rare opportunity for a true PORSCHE 944 fan... This car deserves a home where it will be enjoyed as a car of this nature should be... Honestly, if I didn't have a classic car pile up, I'd keep it... But I have SCCA fever and need room to make this happen. What I've done: Replaced oil & filter, replaced air filter, replaced spark plugs, serviced fluids, flushed fuel injectors & fuel system, replaced sunvisors & clips, new battery, and little fiddley things. Terms: SOLD "as is"... Cash due at pick up, if out of state all funds (cashiers check ONLY) to be cleared before pick up, no international bidders.
