1957 Hillman Minx convertible totally redone by a Utah Hot Rod shop to be the ultimate British fun car. Minx was imported by the same 1950's British conglomerate that also produced the Sunbeam Tiger. The car upon inspection actually has more in common with a handmade vintage Rolls than a sea of more common MGB's and Triumphs. Ford V-6 with a Mustang ll suspension. Rides like a 3,500 mile new car. The Minx has some innovative features like the three position top and trunk design that makes it a fun car to own. I told an old friend that if he ever wanted to sell his 98 Aston Martin that I would buy it. Last week he called, hence my reluctant sale. The car upon inspection actually has more in common with a handmade Rolls Royce than the sea of more common MGB's or Triumph's Built at a cost of over 25K the car is powered by a Ford V-6 that was new when installed. The suspension and brakes are also American Ford. The car has ac, an electric antenna mated to an A-M radio, A unique fiberglass cover that fits over the top when lowered.
