Vehicle Detail
Up for auction today is this 1968 Dodge Charger. This is a very solid restoration candidate. There's obviously some normal Charger rust in the usual places, but overall the body is in decent shape. It was originally a 383 car, now it has a 440 (I'm told by the previous owner that it's been recently rebuilt). Original color was a maroon/burgandy color (not sure of the exact color code), with black interior. The only major part I can see that's missing is the driver side passenger fender. Windsheild is cracked, but all other glass is good, rear glass is there just not installed. Comes with some new parts, including a new radiator from summet racing, still in the box; and a few patch panels, such as drivers floor pan, and one lower quarter patch. Lot's of loose used parts as seen in the photos come with the car. Trunk is latched shut, and I couldn't get it open, I tried to take a photo from underneath and from inside the car to show it's condition, it probably needs some patch work in the trunk. Other than the obvious, I don't know a whole lot about these old Chargers, I know fender tags are a bid deal on these, but I couldn't find one (maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, or maybe it's long gone with the driver fender). I tried to take as many photos from as many angles as possible, but if there's anything not pictures that you'd like to see, just ask. If you have any questions, please ask before you bid. Thanks for looking, happy bidding.
