Here is a very nice original and heavily documented 1965 Chevy Nova 400 series Station Wagon with a Factory installed 283 V8 engine and Automatic Transmission along with the Optional Factory Roof Rack, Wire Wheel Hubcaps with Tribar Spinners with the Chevy Bowtie, AM Push Button Radio, Tinted Windshield, Power Tailgate Window, Padded Dash, Seat Belts, Reverse Lights, Glovebox Light, Night/Day Rearview Mirror, Chevy Bowtie Exterior Rearview Mirror and Dealer Installed Air Conditioning! This beautiful 1965 Nova is not ony a well Optioned Factory V8 car with Wonderful Original Documentation and a Gorgeous Original Color Combination but its just a great little car and a very Low Production car as well. This 1965 Nova 400 Deluxe Wagon was the upscale Wagon for the 1965 Model year and production figures for 1965 Nova Wagons with the 283 engine are very low. According to a Nova website, There were a total of 1,067 Nova Wagons Produced in 1965 with the 283 engine and that included both the base Nova 100 serie Wagon and the Upscale Nova 400 Deluxe Wagon. Split is down the middle and thats approximately (534) 1965 Nova Deluxe 400 series Wagon's Produced with the 283 V8. No matter how you look at it, this is a very low production 1965 Nova Wagon and just a sweet little car to drive and enjoy! This 1965 Nova Wagon is a very cool little Wagon thats painted in its Original Madeira Maroon with a Red Deluxe Interior. This Nova Wagon is one of the few that were equipped with the factory 283 cubic inch V8 engine and good Original examples are difficult to find these days. This is a nice clean and extremely solid Original Nova Wagon that runs and drives great and can be driven reliably. The car starts easily and runs beautiful and the Transmission shifts just as it should with no problems. The engine sounds great with no unusual noises, no smoke and plenty of power! The Nova Wagon drives down the Highway beautifully and is a pleasure to cruise. The Steering is nice and tight and the brakes work well. The Interior is very original overall with the exception of the front and rear seats which were recovered and new carpeting was installed. The Dash, Door Panels, Cargo area, Headliner, Sun Visors and all other interior components are original and overall, everything looks very nice and clean for a 45 year old wagon. This is a wonderful little Nova Wagon that can be driven and enjoyed just as it is and you will surely turn many heads at your Local Cruise Night gatherings or local car shows. This car can be used as your weekend cruiser, Cruise Night driver, Local Show car, family hobby car or your daily driver if so desired. The body on this 1965 Chevy Nova Wagon is very solid and clean and the paint looks very nice. This is a nice turnkey 1965 Nova Wagon that needs absolutely nothing to be enjoyed and driven today. Just get in and turn the key and off you go cruising happily down the highway with a big smile on your face! This is a good original car that spent its early years in North Carolina where it was sold new to a gentleman by the name of Dean Manchester of Columbus North Carolina. Dean Manchester purchased his new 1965 Nova Wagon on Friday February 19, 1965 at B&B Chevrolet in Tryon North Carolina. This Nova still retains its Original Chevrolet Owners Protection Plan along with the Original Protect-O-Plate and its Original Owners Manual as well as its Original 1965 Custom Feature and Accessory Manual. The Original owner kept his little Nova Wagon from February of 1965 until October 15, 1965 when it was sold to a a woman by the name of Mildred Fox from Inman South Carolina. Mrs Fox is said to have kept her little Grocery Getter Nova Wagon for many years before she parted with the car. It is said that it was then given to a family member also from South Carolina and the car spent the majority of its life down South which would explain the wonderful Original Undercarriage and body panels on this Nova Wagon. You really have to see the floors, rockers and the entire undercarriage to believe just how nice clean and solid this car is. The undercarriage is about as nice and solid as you can hope for in one of these early Chevy II's. It is quite obvious that this little Wagon was never exposed to a Nothern Winter as we simply dont see original floor pans and undercarriages that are as clean as this Nova Wagon. The Nova eventually made its way up to Michigan where it was part of a collection owned by a gentleman and his wife and it was always garaged while in their care. They were avid Chevy collectors and old car enthusiast and this Nova Wagon was used as their Cruise Night car and their weekend driver! It was always well cared for and the good original condition of this car shows that its had a good life and not the usual hard life of many other Wagons from this era. This is just a great old Nova Wagon and its ready to be enjoyed by its next owner! Now that you have a little history on this clean 1965 Chevy Nova Wagon, lets move onto the specifics and numbers. This is a very honest original car with no real alterations over the years. It is pretty much the way that it was when it was built at Chevrolet's Norwood Ohio Assembly Plant back in the first week of February 1965! This Nova Wagon's Vin Number and Cowl Tag show this Nova to be a real factory built V8 equipped Wagon as well as showing its options and original paint and interior colors. For those of you who are not real familiar with these Chevrolet's let me break the cars vehicle identification number(VIN) and original Cowl Tag Numbers down for you: The Vehicle Identification Number or Vin Number as it is called is the cars serial number and you can learn a lot from a cars vin number. With this 1965 Nova, the vin number shows the car to be a 1965 Chevy Nova Station with the factory V8 built at Chevrolet's Norwood Ohio Assembly Plant. The Vin Number is as follows: 116355N144362 and it breaks down as follows: 1= Chevrolet 16= Nova 8 Cylinder 35 = Station Wagon 2 Seat 6 Passenger 5 = 1965 Model Year N = Norwod Ohio Assembly Plant 144362= Norwood Assembly Plant's sequential Build Number The Cowl Tag on the 1965 Chevrolet Nova or Chevy II's are located on the Passenger side of the Firewall. The Cowl Tag contains vital information such as the cars Build Date, Assembly Plant, Paint Color, Interior Color and Trim Level, Option Codes and other pertinent information. The Cowl Tag is important for any General Motors vehicle as it will sometimes show Rare Factory Drivetrain Options as well as Rare Color Combination, Trim Levels and Performance Packages as well as Optional equipment. The Original Cowl Tag on this 1965 Nova Wagon is important to this car as it shows its rare and unusual color combination as well as its options. The Cowl Tag on this 1965 Chevy Nova Wagon reads as follows: GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION: Line #1: 02A = 02 February A First Week or the First Week of February 1965 Production Date Line #2: 65-11635 NOR 4864: 65= 1965 Model Year 1= Chevrolet 16= Nova/Chevy II V8 Engine 35= Station Wagon 4 Door NOR= Norwood Assembly Plant 4864= Sequence Number Line #3 793 = Red Deluxe Vinyl Interior N-N= Madeira Maroon Paint Body + Roof Line #4 WG: W= A02 Tinted Windshield G= A33 Power Tailgate Window 2MP: M= M35 Power Glide Automatic Transmission P= U63 Push Button Radio 3C= B70 Padded Dash Line #5: 5:L = Seat Belts This 1965 Nova Wagon also retains its Original Protect-O-Plate and Owners Protestion Plan. The Original P-O-P is a Metal Stamped Plate which was glued to the inside of your Owner Protection Plan or Warranty Booklet and this Plate was used whenever your Chevrolet was taken into the Dealership for Warranty work or repairs of any kind. The Protect-O-Plate is also a very important piece of Original Documentation as it can be used to help with the Authenticating Rare Chevrolet's or any Chevrolet for that matter. The Protect-O-Plate shows the Original Owners Name, Address, VIN Number, Paint Codes, Interior Codes, Engine, Transmission and Rearend Codes as well as other information. This Nova Wagon's Original Protect-O-Plate shows the Original Owner, Dean Manchester in Columbus North Carolina as well as the Nova Wagons paint code, engine code, etc etc etc. This is a great piece of Original Documentation to have with this wonderful little 283 Powered Nova Wagon! This is just a very cool and extremely well documented Nova Wagon with a Factory 283 V8 and Air Conditioning and with an Outstanding Original Color Combination! I guess Ive given you enough information about this Nova Wagon's history and its Documentation so its time to move onto describing the car! This is a very Original Nova Wagon that spent most of its life down South so it has a super nice Original body with real clean Original sheet metal. The Undercarriage is about as good as it gets with really nice clean Original Floor Pans, Rails, Rockers, etc etc. The floors are painted Black and show no heavy undercoating which is a real pleasure because you can see just how nice the original floor pans are on this car. They are excellent. The 283 V8 engine runs beautifully and sounds awesome....starts easily and runs very strong. The engine makes no unual noises, no smoke and runs good and strong with plenty of power for cruising up the highway. The engine compartment is very clean and extremely original with nothing changed outside of regular maintainence items. The original valve covers, original air cleaner, Original exhaust manifolds and all original air conditioning components are still under the hood and nice and clean. This is just a very original engine compartment! There are no signs of any rust under the hood or on the inner aprons which is a common problem area on these cars...not on this car, everything is nice and clean and super original..nothing has ever been altered, abused or butchered in any way. As I mentioned earlier, the 283 V8 engine starts easily and goes right to high speed idle and kicks down and settles into a nice throaty idle. The engine sounds great through the Flowmaster dual exhaust. The Transmission shifts great with good strong decisive shifts and absolutely no problems. The Transmission was recently serviced and works perfectly. There is no slipping, no problems whatsoever...just a good shifting original Powerglide Automatic Transmission. The car drives quite nice and steers nice and straight with a good tight frontend. This Nova Wagon goes up the Road very well with good tight steering and it tracks great with the Matching P215-70R14 White Wall Radial Tires on all four corners. The 215-70R14's are just the perfect size tires for these Nova's in my opinion. They are nice tall tire and they are just the right width to put plenty of tread on the road....they fill the wheel wells nicely and give the car a nice aggressive stance. The car is equipped with Stock Steel wheels and the Optional Simulated Wire Wheel Covers with the Tri-Bar Spinner with the Chevy Bow-Tie in the middle of the spinner...another cool option on this car and they look just perfect on this Nova Wagon! The Nova Wagon stops great with its original drum brakes which have been gone over with recent wheel cylinders, brake shoes and new rubber lines. The car has a nice high brake pedal and the car stops nice and straight. This is a Turnkey driver that would be right at home as your weekend cruiser, local cruise night car, local car shows or even a daily driver if you were so inclined. Its a very dependable old Chevy and its always been well cared for which is evident by its very nice original condition throughout. This is not a car that was ever abused or beaten to death by some young kid. This Nova Wagon has always been adult owned and driven and its always been well maintained. Its one of those good old cars that you like to find but rarely do....just a great original Wagon that not only has the great color combination, great options but its also a factory V8 car with Air Conditioning and great original documentation. The cars electrical components and gauges seem to be in good shape with the Original Headlights, both High and Low Beams in good working order. The Dash Lights work well as I had the car out the other night and it was a pleasure to see nice Bright Dash Lights on an old car as they rarely work or have most of the bulbs blown...not the case with this car although I do believe that one buld could stand to be changed...overall a nice bright dash at night! The Parking Lights, Taillights, Brake Lights, Turn Signals, Reverse Lights all work.....even the little light on the steering column's Shift Lever Indicator for the Transmission lights up, letting you know that your in the proper gear while driving at night! The Windshield Wipers, Heater + Defroster, Power Tailgate Window and even the Glovebox Light all work. The Electric Tailgate Window works well from the Dash Mounted Switch and the window goes up and down easily. The Radio, cigarette lighter are not working although I will see if I can get the radio working as I believe it needs the Dash Speaker replaced. The Air Conditioning is 100% complete and the Compressor is not seized and spins freely but for some reason its not working at this time. I believe it to be a simple fix and will look at it before the auction ends. It might be something as simple as a fuse but I have not looked at it so Im not really sure. I truly believe its something simple and Im sure that once the air compressor is engaging, it will likely need a simple servicing to be up and running as it should....hopefully nice and cold! The Speedometer and Odometer work just fine and the Gas Gauge work as it should also. Now theres something that usually doesnt work in these old cars.....the Gas Gauge works great in this old Nova Wagon. The Windshield Washers still has the Original Glass Windshield Washer Fluid Bottle mounted on the lower drivers side inner fender. Its just cool to see things like this on a 45 year old car as little things like this really show me what kind of care that a car has received over the years. Overall I would say that the electrical components are in very good working order with the air conditioning, cigarette lighter and original AM Radio being the only things that should be looked at and I will try to get to them before the auction ends. Its just nice to drive a 45 year old Wagon where you feel comfortable not only driving the car but there is also comfort in knowing that the original wiring has never been altered and that all is working as it should with no surprises. Just a great little Nova Wagon all the way around! The body on this 1965 Nova Station Wagon is very good and very Original with what appears to be all Original Sheet Metal and no signs of any serious rust issues ever in its life. The undercarriage pretty much tells the whole story as far as Im concerned. You just dont see 45 year old cars of any kind with a beautiful original undercarriage like this. The Floors are absolutely beautiful as are all of the frame rails, rockers, etc etc. The floors are super clean and are not undercoated so you can see just how nice the original floor pans are. I wish that I could have posted more than just the one photo of the Floor Pans on this car because its really impressive to look under this car and see such nice original sheet metal and a very clean undercarriage. The Body Panels all have a good fit and finish by 1965 Nova standards. These cars were not the greatest as far as body panel fit goes and I can say that having owned several nice original survivor cars over the years and the panel fit, gaps and finish was not what I would call perfect by any means. This car has surprisingly very good panel fit and the body overall is very nice. The quarter panels, doors, hood, tailgate, roof, fenders are all in very nice shape. There are no signs of any collision repair or any serious damage repair that I can see anywhere on the car. The Paint on the car looks very nice as you can see. It has an amazing shine and looks absolutely gorgeous when its been washed, waxed and given a good cleaning. These pictures were taken when the car was pulled from the garage without being wiped down and you can see just how nice the car looks in the photos. The Paint although very nice is not flawless. There are a couple of very minor nicks or light scratches that are typical of any car that gets driven but I can assure you that there are no dents, no severe scratches or anything that really stands out. I dont believe there is a single door ding on this car! The car shows quite nice and has the Deluxe Trim Package with the optional side trim and the cool Trim on the Tailgate. The 283 Flags on the front fenders are about my favorite thing on this car. Its just one of those cool little emblems that Ive always thought were cool from the very first time I saw these 283 Flags all the way back in the 60's! The exterior trim is 100% complete and looks good. There are some nicks and scratches and some minor dings on some of the trim but overall, I think it looks very good. The Bumpers are nice and straight and still look very good.... the are Originals which is another good indication of just how well loved this car has been over the last 45 years, Dont get me wrong, the Bumpers are not perfect and they are just too nice to have rechromed at this point unless your looking for a show car. The Original Optional Wire Wheel Spinner Hubcaps are very nice and give the car a very cool and classy look. The Grill is a nice original and looks very good. The Trim on this car is pretty good overall and looks nice...like I said, not flawless but pretty darn nice for an Original 45 year old car. Some of the chrome pieces like the Taillight Bezels and Lenses have usual wear and show some pitting but these are inexpensive pieces to replace if you choose to do so. It surely is not something that needs to be done immediately but if I were to keep the car then I would look around to the Chevy Parts Vendors and eventually replace a few small pieces. Take a good look at the pictures where you can see the door jambs and look at the lock and latch assemblies.....nice and clean as is the paint in the door jambs. Things like this are just another good indication of the cars good overall condition and the care it received over the years. My overall impression of the Body, Paint and Trim on this car is that this Nova Wagon looks very nice and has a super solid body with an excellent original undercarriage. The Body shows no signs of any serious problems and is just a real nice solid original car. The Paint on the car is nice and has a great look with an awesome shine and is very good driver quality paint or better. Im saying driver quality because its not $10,000 show paint but its certainly not a cheap paint job either. Its a very clean Base/Clear Paint job with a nice finish and looks as good or better than many of the cars that I see at our Local Cruise Night gatherings and local Car Shows. I think you will be very pleased with the paint and body on this Nova Wagon. There are a couple of tiny little bubbles under the paint but they are extremely small and hard to pick out. This is a good solid old Wagon and by far one of the most solid honest Nova Wagons that I have ever seen. The Original Trim is 100% complete and it looks nice although some of the trim has some nicks, light scratches and a ding here and there....keep in mind that there is quite a bit of trim on this car and for the most part, its pretty darn nice for original 45 year old trim. This 1965 Nova Wagon is an excellent running and driving car that you would be proud to own, drive and show. As I said earlier, this is not a restored show car but rather a combination of a great original car thats seem some freshening of the interior components where it was needed and the Paint is very pretty with an excellent shine and reflection. The paint looks very deep and has a really nice finish. The Interior is nice and clean and very Original throughout. The Seats were recovered in a very nice and extremely comfortable fabric and look wonderful. The Carpets were replaced from front to back and look absolutely beautiful...like new! The Front Seat Belts were replaced with new seat belts for the sake of safety as the originals were looking a little tired and new seat belts are definitely an improvement. The Original AM Radio is still in the Dash and looks good as are all of the Original Heater and Vent Controls. The Original Gauge Cluster looks nice and clean. The Original Red Steering wheel and deluxe Horn Ring are still in good shape and the horn still blows quite loud. The Optional Day/Night Mirror is still mounted up between the Original Sun Visors which seem to be in nice shape. The cars original door panels are pretty nice as seen in the photos and the dash looks good although there are a few little tiny cracks in the corner of the Dash Pad which are difficult to see unless you are looking for them. There are no big cracks, just a few little cracks in the pad from exposure to the sun and heat. The Overall condition of the Dash is quite nice. The Headliner is not ripped or damaged although it does have a few spots where it shows some discoloration from the last 45 years.....nothing horrible and could easily be cleaned up easily although I wouldnt touch it. The Seats fold down nicely to make for one very large Cargo area which can be used to move just about anything. Its a super nice area with the seats folded down. The Rear Cargo area behind the second row of seats looks to be very nice and the Original Spare Tire Cover and Spare Tire Storage area are real nice...just amazing that the Original Vinyl coverings are still in the Wagon let alone in good shape after 45 years. The whole rear cargo area looks quite nice and this would serve nicely as a great car to use for camping cruising or taking the family away on vacation.....everything would fit nicely in the large rear cargo area to use this old Wagon for just about anything that you'd like. Its just a nice Vintage Nova Wagon thats ready to be enjoyed today. The Doors all open and close easily as does the Tailgate. The windows all roll up and down with no problems and all of the glass seems to be in nice shape. The Tinted windshield is the original and shows a little discoloration in the lower corner but still looks very nice. Im just getting really picky here. The car could use new door weatherstripping and new window channel fuzzies in my opinion and these pieces are not necessary mind you but they are inexpensive pieces to replace and make a world of difference, The Interior in this Nova Wagon is very Original overall and still looks quite nice after 45 years of service. Keep in mind that this Wagon has been used as a weekend cruiser or collector car for the last 20 years or more so its been used sparingly and always garaged since. This is a very comfortable Wagon to drive and it really drives very well when your cruising down the highway. I had the car out on Interstate Highway earlier this week and it was a real pleasure to drive. The car tracks really nice down the road and doesnt wander from lane to lane. Its a nice tight old Wagon and I feel confident in saying that this car would be driven anywhere. In closing I would like to say that this is a really cool and very clean Original 1965 Nova Wagon with what appears to be its Original 283 engine and original Powerglide Transmission. I honestly dont think that the engine has ever been out of the car, Its a very honest car and extremely original. This Wagon has a very solid body and very clean paint. This is a relatively low production model as I read on one of the Nova websites that only 1,710 total V8 Nova Wagons were produced in 1965 and that included the 283 and some of the extremely rare 327 Wagons. I would say that 1,710 is quite a low production number considering that these cars were produced 45 years ago and I doubt very much that there are more than 10% of these cars still around and of those I wonder how many are still in nice condition? If your looking for a nice clean Original 1965 Nova Wagon that can be used and enjoyed immediately then look no further. This is a very attractive original car in its Beautiful Original Madeira Maroon and with the Red Deluxe Interior. The car also has some very cool options like the Tinted Windshield, Original AM Radio, Original Wire Wheel Spinner wheel Covers, Original Padded Dash, Original Night/Day Mirror, Original Power Tailgate Window, Original Seat Belts, Original Glovebox Light, Cool Original Roof Rack, Dealer added Air Conditioning, Automatic Transmission and of course the 283 V8 engine which really makes this one super cool little Wagon. Keep in mind that this 1965 Nova Station Wagon also comes with great Original Documentation from the Original Owners Manual to the Original Owners Protection Plan and the Original Protect-O-Plate, Original Custom Accessory Manual for 1965 and some previous Registrations from from the second owner as well as the Original Selling Dealers Name, Original Owners Name and the Date of which the car was sold New! This car is a great driving little Nova Wagon with a great running factory 283. I believe this to be the original engine as it shows all of the correct casting numbers but Im unable to see the Pad that contains the original engine code suffix + the partial Vin number because the Air Conditioning Compressor and Mounting Brackets are in the way. I was told that this is a complete Numbers Matching car and I have absolutely no reason to doubt that. I have no doubt that this is the Original engine that this car left Chevrolet's Norwood Ohio Assembly Plant with back in the first week of February of 1965! The engine compartment is exceptionally clean and original and looks to be nearly 100% original outside of some common maintainence items like the hoses, belts and battery. I would also like to add that this is a fairly Rare little Nova Wagon with the Factory installed 283 V8 engine and the Powerglide Automatic Transmission. As I mentioned earlier, I found a Production number of just 1,710 1965 Nova Station Wagons Produced with V8 engines and that included the Rare 327-250hp of which just 324 were made and the rarer 327-300hp of which just 319 were made. Thats a total of 643 1965 Nova Wagons built with one of the 327 engine's leaving just 1,067 of the 1965 Nova Wagons built with the 283 engine and that number would be split between the Nova 100 and Nova 400 series Wagons. I would say that this little Nova Wagon is a fairly rare car with just 1,067 283 Powered 1965 Nova Wagons built and again that number is split between the Nova 100 series Wagon and the Nova 400 series Wagon....lets just say that 50% of those 283 Power Nova Wagons were 100 series and 50% were the 400 series Wagons. If we break it down that way then this 1965 Nova Wagon would be 1 of approximately 534 Produced and then you can break that number down even further as these cars were available with the 3 Speed Manual, 4 Speed Manual and the Powerglide Automatic Transmissions. No matter how you look at it, this is a Super Rare Factory Built 283 Powered 1965 Chevrolet Nova Wagon! Now that Ive rambled on long enough to give you as much information as humanly possible, lets get to the final description and then the terms of sale. Once again, this is a 1965 Chevy Nova Deluxe 400 Series Station Wagon. This was the top of the line Chevy Nova Wagon for 1965 and therefor you got the upscale exterior trim package and other nice equipment that was not available on the less expensive lower trim level 100 series Nova Wagon. This 1965 Nova Wagon is one Rare little car by all accounts! This is one super Original car which appears to be wearing all of its Original sheet metal and the car appears to be an exceptionally Original car. This Nova Wagon is painted in its Original Madeira Maroon Paint with a Nice base/clear paint job that was done about 8 years ago. The paint looks very nice and you will be proud to drive and show your car just the way it sits although I would consider this a very nice driver and not a restored show car. This is not a restored car but rather a combination of a good original car thats had some cosmetics done with the seats being recovered and the carpets replaced along with a nice paint job. The rest of the car appears to be as original as they get. The cars little 283 V8 engine starts easily and runs beautifully and the Powerglide Automatic Transmission shifts as good as it gets. The car drives very nice and tracks very straight down the highway with good tight steering and a good tight frontend. The car stops very well with its Original drum brakes that have been gone over at all 4 corners. The car is a get in and drive car that should provide you with many years of fun and cruising pleasure. Please take a look at the pictures and you will see that this is one pretty 1965 Nova Wagon. This is a very well documented original car with lots of original documentation and its as solid as they get having spent most of its life down South. The Interior is very clean and comfortable and you can pack the family in and use the car for family vacations or for cruise night events or any of the many old car gatherings that are held all around the country. This is a car that the whole family can enjoy and at a price that wont break the bank. This is by no means an over-restored show car but rather a well taken care of original. I think the new owner will be very happy with this old Nova Wagon. Please feel free to call Tony 215-499-2693 with any questions or email me tonyhemi63@aol.com with questions or concerns. I know how difficult it can be to buy a car from a stranger sight unseen so please call me and I will do everything that I can so that you will know exactly what you are bidding on. I want the new owner to be happy with his or her new purchase. This is far more important to me than the money. They say that a Transaction is only a "good" one if both the buyer and seller are happy when its all been done and I couldnt agree with that more. I go to great length to insure that all of my ebay transactions are good ones for both buyer and seller. I have bought many things on ebay over the years so I understand just how difficult it can be and how nerve wracking it can be when your dealing with somebody on the other side of the country and sending your hard earned money to a stranger. Believe me when I tell you that I have been there many times and it never gets any easier but I try my best to make sure that everybody is happy when they are dealing with me. TONY 215-499-2693On Jun-03-10 at 15:12:50 PDT, seller added the following information: This Nova Wagon is a very solid and clean original car that runs and drives very well. The Wagon has tremendous eye appeal....looks beautiful and is every bit as solid as it is pretty! It drives really nice down the highway and is a pleasure to cruise in. It tracks nicely down the road and does not wander from lane to lane. The steering is nice and tight and the frontend seems to be in good shape. The Brakes work great and stop the car great with no problems. This is a great running Nova Wagon that you can get in and drive today! The 283 engine provides plenty of power to keep this little Nova Wagon cruising along nicely in Highway Traffic with plenty of passing Power when the need for a little more speed is required. The Transmission shifts perfectly through the gears, no hesitation, no slipping, no problems whatsoever! The car runs and drives great! This is a real beauty with a Stunning Original Color Combination.....great options.. ..wonderful Original Documentation and you can safely enjoy this Nova Wagon for many years while protecting your investment by simply keeping the car nice. Keep in mind that these 1965 Nova Deluxe 400 series Wagons are fairly Rare with the Factory installed 283 V8 engine and with the colors, options and documentation, this is one very cool little Wagon. You can use this Nova immediately for your local Cruise Night or local Show events. It is a great driver that is very comfortable to drive with plenty of room for cruising around with the whole family in the car and room for the family dog in the back. Its a great old Wagon and a blast to drive and enjoy! Feel free to call Tony 215-499-2693 with any questions. On Jun-05-10 at 19:18:21 PDT, seller added the following information: I just thought I mention that there are several other early Nova Wagons currently on ebay and several others have sold on ebay over the last few months and all of those cars were either projects, drag cars, rusty projects and several were good projects with many good parts included but none have been as clean or as original as this 1965 Nova Wagon. None of the others had air conditioning and several were original 6 cylinder cars that were converted to V8's. They were also priced anywhere from $3500 for major projects to $35,000 for the few real nice cars that Ive seen. Anything was priced anywhere close to the price of the Factory Deluxe Nova Wagon with its Factory V8 were not even in the same league as this car. They were either projects or streetable race cars that were thrown together or butchered up in some way. This 1965 Nova Deluxe 400 series or the Upscale Trim Level Nova Wagon shown in this auction is a great looking Turnkey driver that can be enjoyed today without doing anything to it....just get in and drive and enjoy the Local Cruise Night Gatherings, Local Car Club Events or just take the old Nova Wagon out and Cruise around on the Weekends and have a good time with your family! This car is not a restored show car but rather a nice clean Original Well Maintained Factory 283 car with Original Documentation, Owner History, Great Options including the Air Conditioning and its all in a car thats been well cared for over the years! This was repainted and looks very nice. The Seat Covers were redone, new carpets installed, new exhaust, Brake all gone over and its a wonderful running and super nice driving old Wagon! This Wagon is a really nice looking car that runs great and sounds awesome! You will enjoy this Nova Wagon and keep in mind that this is a very Low Production vehicle with just 1,067 total 1964 Nova Wagons built with the 283 and of the 1.067 283 Powered Nova Wagons, that number included the Nova 100 series Base Wagon and the Nova 400 Deluxe Wagon. This 1965 Nova Deluxe 400 series Wagon is likely one of just over 500 Produced which is a very low production number for any classic car. I would have to say that this car is fairly rare on top of everything else. Bid with confidence as my ebay feedback speaks for itself! Thanks again for looking and good luck with your bids. This auction ends on Sunday Night June 6 at around 9pm e.s.t. Thanks again and call Tony 215-499-2693 with any questions.
