Vehicle Detail

I brought this 1973 Nova back from LA with me about 4 mos ago. It's in great shape for its age. The worst parts about it are the small holes behind each rear tire. Also the seat on the driver side is pretty torn up, the dash, and wind shield are both cracked. The dash is repairable. The good - The carpet looks good. It has low miles. It has ported heads, but would benefit from a 4v carb and headers. It has a fresh th350 trans -2400 miles on it. New shocks. New hi-po coil. new dist. Driver side control arm bushings are new. drives great. it was my daily driver in LA, its never seen salt. I'm only selling because I'm going back to LA and need the cash. The pics are showing the bad parts of the car!On May-29-10 at 15:02:58 PDT, seller added the following information:I have lowered the price on this as much as I can, because I have to get my computer out of the pawn shop this week. If you are waiting for me to lower the price more, don't bother. If I lose my comp, I will hold out for more money. Because I am desperate to sell the car in the next couple of days, I AM GOING TO SWEETEN THE DEAL even more. My back gound as a professional automotive technitian: I started out specializing in engines. For a while I did costum paint. Now, I specialize in transmissions. The tranny has already been rebuilt (2400 miles ago). For $250 I will install a new high stall torque converter, shift kit, and B&M shifter. The heads have already been ported. For $$350 I will upgrade to an HEI distributor, 4 barrel intake and carb, new mild cam and hyd lifters, and headers. I can upgrade less for less money, of course. For $250 I will have the car ready for paint. For $550 I will put a SHOW QUALITY PAINT JOB on it, replace the windshield, and repair the crack in the dash. Add $200 if you would prefer replacement lowere quarters instead of fiberglass. Though I can make fiberglass look great and it wont rust. If you buy either new upholstery or bucket seats I will install them for you, but you MUST get them to me ASAP. As you can see I am very desperate to sell this car imediately. I can have all of the above done, with quality workmanship, in about 4 days. Now, this truely is the deal of a lifetime, that you've been waiting for. Go ahead and look around to see what it would cost to find a Nova with all of the above done to it for. Probably around $8000 and you wouldn't get you choose how it was painted!
