bowmanmotors Store 1962 FERRARI 250 GTE 2+2 SERIES II 1962 FERRARI 250 GTE SERIES II 2+2 COUPE CHASSIS NO. 3787 GT"FOR SALE WITHOUT ENGINE" The 250 GTE has the same wheelbase as the legendary 250 GT Berlinetta and was clothed in a Pininfarina steel body with an alumnum hood, doors, and trunk. With disc brakes, leather trimmed seats and interior, chrome-rimmed Veglia instruments and Borrani wire wheels, the car was both luxurious and sporting with a top speed close to 140 mph.The 250 GTE Series II offered here has Blu Chiaro (Sky Blue) exterior, and Pella Rossa (Dark Red) interior. The exterior and interior are in excellent condition. Approximately $20,000 was spent in 2007-2009 by the previous owner on cosmetic restoration. The Borrani wheels were rebuilt and Michelin XWX tires mounted. The GTE comes with its overdrive transmission and is complete (less engine and steering wheel). The odometer shows just 05175 miles, and was purchased at RM's Sports & Classics of Monterey 2009 auction.Please contact us for more information. Deposit The successful high bidder will submit a 20% non-refundable deposit within 3 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.Payment of Balance Due The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. Additional Fees, Taxes and Conditions All California residents are subject to state/local tax, title, license, doc, smog, and govt. fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees + title, registration fees and documents in the state that the vehicle will be registered. A document fee of $55.00 will be charged. Buyers/Bidders agree that the legal jurisdiction of this transaction is the State of California in San Mateo County. Buyers need to furnish a copy of a valid drivers license and proof of insurance to facilitate the transfer. Vehicles picked up and driven in California are required to pay local sales tax and applicable fees. State of California terms and conditions apply. Bid Retractions Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end. Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction. Negative Feedback Bidders We do not allow bidding from negative feedback bidders. New bidders with zero feedback rating should email us or call us prior to bidding. Successful Bidder The winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes or he/she must contact Bowman Motors, LLC within 24 hours to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next highest bidder, or sell it otherwise. Non-Paying Bidder If the deposit is not received within 2 business days of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 7 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.
