Description: You are looking at “TRUE BARN FIND” “RESTO – MOD” 1947 Chevrolet Extended Cab (Dually) 5–Window Pick-Up. VIN: 14EPL-8020 EBM-294454 (calendar year sales) 14EPL-8020= 14= Baltimore, MD EP= 3100 Series L=Nov=1947 (late series) 8020= sequential production number Options: As you can see by the pictures, the vehicle comes with many of the hard to find conversion parts needed to complete the RESTORATION. IE: Chevy (3500 Series) Running gear including front stainless steel suspension, front and rear Koni coilovers. Disc brakes (front) Drum (rear). Polished Weld Aluminum 8-stud wheels. Late model G.M. Tilt Steering Column (key switch has been removed to put back into the dash). Keyless Entry (shaved door handles), frenched headlights, bronze windshield, intermittent wipers, complete (new) vintage air system and chrome grill done by Lemon Grove, CA before they went out of business. All glass including the 2 rear curved pieces and all with new window rubber seals. Complete ‘mahogany’ (sanded) rear bed floor planks with Stainless Steel bed strips. It has a 30,000 lb ‘fifth wheel’ ball receiver which can be removed. Inner fenders, dash cluster, vent and radio delete plates, switches, heater ducts and many, many misc. parts. The truck is complete other than ‘your’ choice of an engine and transmission. Condition: This vehicle was purchased by its present owner in 1991 and since has been meticulously restored to its present stage. Hours and hours have been spent smoothing the firewall, precisely and measurably welding the cab extension so as to be accepted to the frame. Block sanding over and over to achieve ‘perfection’ prior to applying the black ‘base coat’. The body is now ‘RUST Free’. Finalization: Buyer is responsible for any delivery or shipping charges.
