Vehicle Detail

1973 BMW R75/5 I have owned the bike for the past eight years. The bike is in very good condition it's always kept inside of my store. The bike was repainted about 10 years ago the pinstriping is hand done. I have all the records of what has been replaced or serviced on the bike. The frame and swing arm has some chips from crash bars and just wear. Its has progressive springs and Koni rear shocks, it also has a Boyer electronic ignition, Thunderchild diode board. Its has the original tool kit and the air pump. The tires are Metzler but are showing a few cracks. The bike has 58,313 miles on it. All the lights and blinkers work, rims and other chrome in great shape. I have the original bars, mirrors, crash bars, and two additional seats. I also have the owners manual. The bike is a great running bike it always starts right up doesn't smoke or leak and fluids. Strong running bike for 37 years old. Not perfect but always looks great. The tank has a very small ding above the emblem but the paint is fine, the front fender also has a very small paint chip. On May-12-10 at 12:07:15 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to let bidders know I rode the bike yesterday and I'm having an issue with the nailhead key, It usually turns the bike off. At this moment you have to slowly let the clutch out while the bike is in gear to kill the motor. I will consider taking a little money of the final price once I can contact Engle Motors here in Kansas City to see what might be the problem. This problem isn't effecting any other electrical part. On May-12-10 at 14:08:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Okay well I think I posted the ignition issue to soon. I spoke to the service tech at Engle Motors and he helped me figure out the problem. It was one of the wires on the Boyer electronic ignition. The bike now starts and turns off like it should.
