Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1992 Saab 900S. This is a pretty classy, collectible car. I have owned the 900S since August 2008. I wanted to restore it and put a manual transmission in it but never had the time, and right now I need cash. The engine runs great. The transmission shifts through all gears, but there is a little hesitation going into second. The cruise control does not work, but can be fixed; I just never had the time. The passenger window does not roll down automatically, but the driver window and sunroof work fine. This is a salvage/rebuilt title. Neither the previous owner or I know the full details of the accident, but from what I can tell, there was minor front end damage. I'm sure the vehicle history reports would have some information. The frame is straight and I've never had any issues. It does need a new grill, and the AC needs charged. There is also a tiny gasket leak near the fuel tank. A lot of these issues are cheap fixes, but right now I don't have the time or money. The previous owner did install remote locks, which also acts as a security system. The car can be unlocked with the key but cannot be started without also having the remote or the horn will sound. The previous owner also removed the cassette deck and installed an Alpine CD player. If you are familiar with the 900 series, they have tons of storage room, and the backseat can be lowered for even more space. The unique Saab tripod suspension means that the car has better handling than my Mustang, and during the Winter I drive the Saab because it does better on ice. The tires have a lot of tread left on them, and I put in a new battery last fall. I don't foresee any transaction problems, but for future reference, here are the terms that the winning bidder agrees to: The winning bidder will need to pay full amount within 7 days of the end of the sale. The payment is non refundable. Personal checks are not accepted. If the payment is not received on time, the vehicle will be re-listed. The buyer also needs to pick up the car within 3 weeks of the end of the sale. If the vehicle is not picked up within that period of time, a $50 per week storage fee will be charged. The title will be signed over when the vehicle is picked up. If the vehicle is not picked up within two months, the payment will be forfeited, and the vehicle will be re-listed. That about sums it up. I have described the car to the best of my knowledge, but If you have any further questions please ask before you bid. This vehicle is sold As-Is. If you would like to test drive the vehicle just let me know. I will add more pictures soon. On May-27-10 at 15:33:41 PDT, seller added the following information: NEW PICTURES ADDED!!!
