This auction is for a used 1983 Oldsmobile 98 Regency Brougham 4 door sedan. The car shows 77,313 miles on it but the speedometer is broken. This may not be too far off, but I would not want to make any guarantees. It does run and drive not too badly. I don't know if I would leave on any cross-country tour with it but I have driven it several times from work to my home and back (a distance of 50+ miles) with no problems. The brakes sometimes pull off to one side and it could probably use a good tune-up but that is about it as far as running is concerned. The interior is in good to very good condition, perhaps an 8 on a 10 scale with no major rips or tears and slight soiling. The body is very straight an rust free, however the paint was touched up by the previous elderly owner using a spray can, so it is definitely show quality. The tires are pretty good and the wire spoke wheel covers are original and in good shape. Options on the car include power windows, power door locks, cuise control, tilt wheel, climate control type air conditioning, AM-FM radio with cassette player (factory original), power driver and passenger seats, sunroof, full padded vinyl roof, rear window defroster, power steering, tinted glass, and more. Please undeerstand that I am not sure whether or not all these options work properly, but I did list them because they are on the car. If this is important to you, please contact me and I will do my best to check for sure. The car can be viewed and test driven at our lot near Foley MN., in the central part of the state. I do not want to overstate the condition of this car because I, like many of you have chased many miles to look at an old car that was grossly misrepresented and would not want to do that to anyone.
