2004 Ford P71 Police Interceptor VIN: 2FAFP71W34X140249 Here’s another nice Ford P71 Police Interceptor Crown Victoria we’ve just acquired to offer our great eBay customers. This cruiser was decommissioned by the City of Seattle’s PD here in Washington State. Now, before I’m asked, let me put a few questions to rest: Yes, as you can see in the photos it actually has less than 82,500 real, original miles. No, it wasn’t sitting wrecked in some salvage yard waiting to be put back on the road. Of all the agencies we get Interceptors from these Seattle cars tend to have some of the lowest miles. P71 Police Interceptors are, of course, upgraded versions of the Ford Crown Victoria. They have more horsepower, heavier duty suspensions, wheels, brakes, tires, cooling and charging systems. Drive one once and you’ll be sold. No other American full size sedan comes even remotely close! The powerful 4.6L engine in this car starts right up, idles smoothly and runs strong. No overheating or other mechanical issues that we’re aware of here. I’ve now driven the car over the past few days on my rounds and found no mechanical issues. As expected, the automatic transmission shifts smoothly and the A/C blows ice cold. Even the AM/FM radio works great! Options include dual exterior spotlights, power windows, door locks and power movable brake/gas pedals. We’ve installed unused year matched factory rear seat cushions to replace the fiberglass “perp seat” that came with the car (or let me know if you’d like it setup in the original configuration) and have left the seatbelts as-is. If you’re looking for something that will handle long distance driving, country roads, or even a great driving daily commuter/taxi this is the vehicle for you. What you see in the photos is the result of a wash and vacuum only! The exterior has only minor scratches/nicks. All the glass appears original and good. The factory HD wheels are straight and true with at least 75%+ rubber. Rust? Please! Cars here in the Pacific Northwest hate body rust and we see absolutely NO evidence of any here! Yes, we get a bit of drizzly rain, but hardly ever any snow so our winter roads are never salted. Please free to climb over, under and around this cruiser - I know you’ll come up smiling! With less than 82,500 original miles on the clock the 4.6L engine and transmission are just getting warmed up and should provide a great ride for years to come with just routine maintenance. Although we’ll work with any shipper you choose, you’re welcome to do what many of our previous buyers from as far away as Alaska, Arizona, the Midwest and the Mexican Baja have done – fly in (We’ll pick you up at Sea-Tac International five miles away) and then road trip this Interceptor home the same day! Believe me, NOBODY gets in your way! I wouldn’t hesitate (and in fact, I encourage you) to drive any of our cruisers home cross-country! C’mon, the weather’s great for a fun summer road trip! There is NO history of ANY salvage, a “rebuilt” title, insurance claims, flood damage, odometer rollback or other nasty negatives to cause concern with this Police Interceptor. As an alternative, you might also get a quote from Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS). I’m happy to assist by transporting your purchase to the nearest DAS terminal located in Lakewood, WA for an additional $100. DAS normally charges about $200.00 to pick up at our door. Make sure you inquire with your shipper about insurance coverage on the vehicles they transport. The vehicle can be stored free of charge at our location for up to two weeks after full payment has been made. We are open for vehicle pickup everyday. The Buyer will be responsible for the licensing requirements in their state of residence. If you live here in Washington State we’ll need to collect the 9.5% sales tax, title preparation, transfer and registration fees (this means if you live in another state, we WON’T collect any sales tax). Because the car is advertised and for sale locally, we reserve the right to cancel this auction early if it’s no longer available for sale online. The State of Washington shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes. Venue shall be exclusively in King County. The final contract signed between both buyer and seller shall be binding. The final signed contract and terms thereof shall govern the sale. All disputes arising out of or relating to this auction, any negotiations, the signed agreement, or to the breach, enforcement or interpretation thereof, shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Washington, in accordance with the terms contained in the final sale agreement and under the laws of the State of Washington.
