The Dodge Ram SRT-10 (Street and Racing Technology) was created by the Daimler-Chrysler Performance Vehicle Operations Division. The Quad Cab version was only manufacured in 2005 and 2006. 2,493 units were produced in 2005, followed by 1,501 in 2006, for a total of 3,994. This is one of the lowest production runs ever on a factory performance truck. In 2005, 777 were produced in Flame Red. The idea was simple. Take a Viper V-10 8.3 liter engine, with 500 HP and 525 Ft/Lbs. of torque and mate it to a heavy duty 48RE four speed automatic transmission (the same transmission behind the Cummins diesel). Transfer the power to the ground through a Dana 60 differential with 4.56 gears. Install this amazing drivetrain into a fully loaded pickup truck. The SRT-10 Ram is the fastest production pickup truck in the world. The Quad Cab will accelerate 0-60 in 5.1 seconds, with a top speed of approximately 147 MPH. Quarter mile time-13.2 seconds at 106 MPH. These performance figures are for a 5,618 pound, pickup truck with four doors! Unlike previous models, and those of the competitors, the Quad Cab offered an extended wheelbase, towing capacity, and ability to carry several passengers. It was the perfect match of power, comfort, and versatility. The exterior is finished in flawless Flame Red clearcoat. As stated above, only 777 were produced in this color in 2005. Distinctive wide Power Bulge hood and scoop for cold air intake and engine bay cooling. Rear wing. Color match hard tonneau cover. Tinted glass is also flawless all the way around. The Dodge Ram SRT-10 (Street and Racing Technology) was created by the Daimler-Chrysler Performance Vehicle Operations Division. The Quad Cab version was only manufacured in 2005 and 2006. 2,493 units were produced in 2005, followed by 1,501 in 2006, for a total of 3,994. This is one of the lowest production runs ever on a factory performance truck. In 2005, 777 were produced in Flame Red. The idea was simple. Take a Viper V-10 8.3 liter engine, with 500 HP and 525 Ft/Lbs. of torque and mate it to a heavy duty 48RE four speed automatic transmission (the same transmission behind the Cummins diesel). Transfer the power to the ground through a Dana 60 differential with 4.56 gears. Install this amazing drivetrain into a fully loaded pickup truck. The SRT-10 Ram is the fastest production pickup truck in the world. The Quad Cab will accelerate 0-60 in 5.1 seconds, with a top speed of approximately 147 MPH. Quarter mile time-13.2 seconds at 106 MPH. These performance figures are for a 5,618 pound, pickup truck with four doors! Unlike previous models, and those of the competitors, the Quad Cab offered an extended wheelbase, towing capacity, and ability to carry several passengers. It was the perfect match of power, comfort, and versatility.
The exterior is finished in flawless Flame Red clearcoat. As stated above, only 777 were produced in this color in 2005.
