Vehicle Detail

1972 Chevy Nova SS Pro Street car Up for auction is my own personal car. I originally built it as a Pro Street car. It was then raced successfully for 2 years with a different drive train before being put back to “street trim” and is now being made available for sale at a fraction of what it would cost to build. Car was painted 3 years ago in Base/ Clear gloss black. Has small blems chips etc . but is VERY presentable and shows very nicely. Has black stripe on the side that is subtle but always gets positive remarks. Body is all steel with exception of 4” bolt on cowl hood. Fenders, inner fenders, deck lid, bumpers, trim, emblems, etc. were all replaced new when car was painted. Doors were rust free donors. Lower 1/4s were replaced as well. Glass is all good and operates as it should. Interior is basic but has everything it should. Has Tach w/ shift light as well as oil water, and volt gauges. Lock out B&M shifter works as it should and has N safety switch wired. Two fiberglass bucket seats and a new certified harness on the drivers side. Underside has new shocks, springs, ball joints and most if not all bushings etc. Disk brakes are completely new as well as master cylinder, prop valve and all steel and rubber brake lines. Front sub is tied into rear. Rear frame consists of Competition Engineering rails and Art Morrison 4 Bar components. Chassis was configured on a Performance Trends 4 link program and tracks straight and had killer 60 ft times when racing. Rear is a narrowed Ford 9” with moser axles. Has 5/8 studs. Currently the rear has 4.56 gears with a Moser spool but also included with car is a brand new set of 4.11 gears with a Ford posi unit that was previously in this rear. Rear suspension also has HD rear anti sway bar but has been removed for street use. Easily reinstalled in about 10 minutes to hit the track! Under the hood is a fresh 383 power plant. Most if not all components on this engine have about 8 hours on them including the engine assy itself. 383 has Pump gas friendly 10.50:1 compression and the late model roller block sports a nasty solid roller cam with 633 lift that gives the car the crazy head turning idle we all love!!! New Demon 825 carb and Victor Jr. intake as well as 2.05 aluminum Patriot heads . Engine has Mid mount alt and elec. Water pump as well as aluminum radiator with elec. Fan. Hooker super comp headers go to 3” welded system and has 2 Pypes Stainless mufflers with downspouts just before rear axle. Trans is a TH350 with little use that has a 3400 stall “street friendly” converter. Also has new locking type dipstick required this year by NHRA. Engine and trans mounts are new. Driveshaft is new and is a Denny’s HD unit. Car has weld wheels and the rears are 31X16.50X15 Hoosier quick times. Included are a set of slicks with about half life left on them. I’m sure there is a lot of info I have forgotten to include. Please feel free to message me thru Ebay or call me at the below number with any SERIOUS inquiries etc. Buying a car sight unseen is tricky business and not for the faint of heart. If you have never done this or are unsure, please do both myself and other bidders a favor by NOT bidding. Zero and negative feedbacks please message me before bidding. Thanks and good luck!!!
