Vehicle Detail
1988 Corvette: Selling to make room for other projects. This vehicle is very tight and drives excellent. INTERIOR: 1 TO 10 // 9.5. Seats have no tears, carpet has one small bad spot under the accelerator pedal. The brand new carpeted floor mats cover it well. The mat set did include a mat for the rear hatch area. The glass top is removeable, and seals with no issues. All the weatherstripping is new with exception or the strip along the windshield. That new strip is included with the car. The steering wheel cover is new (leather). New leather shift knob. New window switch area bezel. Pioneer AM/FM casette W/6 Disc changer in rear storage compartment. EXTERIOR: 1 TO 10 // 8.5 Car is Flat Black? Black Primer? Do not know. looks good in the driveway, and going down the road. The front Air Dam is broken, would be a easy repair. Headlamp motors have been rebuilt, work excellent. The front tag filler is new, was very expensive. Rear Corvette emblem is new. Power antannae has been rebuilt w/new mounting bezel. Doors are a little hard to close due to the new weatherstrip. CHASSIS: 1 TO 10 // 9.5 Car runs and handles great. Has a nice set of ZR1 wheels, with tires that are deep in tread. Car has a spare mounted in the original location. The radiator, alternator, and battery have been replaced recently. Also replaced the fan temp switch. The car runs a fairly constant 170 deg. Also has stainless exhaust system, too cool. The only thing this car needs is a climate control panel. The heat and air were working great. The control panel went out and now the heater is on always. this is a commor replacement for this model, and runs anywhere from $150 to $350. The car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. This is a great car for the money, if you have never had a Corvette and want one this is an excellent opportunity. It is my first one, and I have enjoyed it. I am a little to big and to old to be getting in and out of a corvette. HAPPY BIDDING.
