PORSCHE 911E CLUB RACER Vehicle Description 1969 911E VIN #119220140 • Paint Code 6802 - Polo Red EXTERIOR – Deep extensive (and expensive) two year-long restoration in original Polo Red (Paint Code #6802 ) • Restoration includes windows-out, hood, deck, doors removed, body resto and paint work… of very high quality, new rubber kit install • Door jambs appear original factory paint • Wheel wells also excellent. The restoration began with a beautiful candidate - very clean, unmolested and rust free southern car, with outstanding original pans and in overall fine shape (see photos) • Early 911 Porsche Club feedback – paint work would cost on order of more than $12K today to reproduce • wheel wells very original including factory undercoating - excellent • JFloors are solid (both inside and out). • Headlight buckets are rust free as are longitudinals, torsion bar tubes, and jack points • Both the front suspension pan and gas tank support are original and very clean, floorpan horsehair still great also… which lends to overall fine and original condition of the car Car includes the (5) period “Deep Six” (6X15) Fuchs w/ (195x65x15) Yokohama radials. • Big original aluminum (recently rebuilt) S Brakes. Paying attention to detail… new stainless steel (Stromsky Racing) Brake-Caliper Pistons • Recent four wheel alignment; corners nicely • Body gaps near perfect. • H-1 Headlights including such specifics as early 911S Registry preferred sucro relay and high wattage bulbs. More than $6,000 recent upgrades last year by Steve Limbert (Air Cooled Racing) in Wellsville, PA. Including total gas tank restoration (Moyers), new period Koni (Struts and Shocks); SS brakes, rear sway bar; and other fun updates including new gas and brake lines, motor mounts and complete weber 40IDA rebuilds. This early 911 E Porsche has a ton of good money in her. MECHANICAL - The Engine is not stock ! It is an expensive ground-up and complete build by Porsche Club of America reknown Bob Johnson of Johnson Autosports www.JohnsonAutosport.com. • Motor is custom and not stock • Motor includes Carrera (Oil Fed) tensioners / ramps, updated valve covers, 40IDAWebers, SSI Heat Exch., Ansa Exhaust… including new bearings/valves/guides, etc. All original JOHNSON AUTOSPORT paperwork and engine build receipts included with sale. • Johnson Autosport’s price quote for this motor now begins at $11,500.
