I have a 1996 Volkswagen Golf GL with close to 122k miles. The car has a 2.0 and is a automatic. the motor runs awesome and i have never had a single problem with the car but unfortunatley the transmission started slipping recently and i dont have the money to fix it so the transmission needs to be replace but as for now it is still VERY DRIVEABLE. The car has a little tiny kick when you take off and then when its about to shift gears it revs and you take your foot off the gas and it shifts but recently i have been manually shifting it so that it doesnt slip. Other then the little transmission slip.....the car is awesome. I put alot of time into it such as the boser hood, badgeless grille, shaved hatch, aftermarket headlights (needs adjusting), lowering springs in the front, plaid gti editions seats, sony explode cd player with aux hook up for ipods, heat and ice cold a/c, and painted the car satin black. please feel free to ask any questions and thank you for looking....LOW RESERVE
