Up for grabs is a very nice RUST FREE 1965 Chevy Corvair with Factory Air Condition, dual carbs, 4 spd, 110HP. This car is a fine example and is unmolested in every way, car has never been in an accident, has original equipment including radio and spare tire. Car has been painted about 8 yrs ago over factory paint and is in great shape still. Inside trunk, engine compartment and entire interior is in completely ORIGINAL condition with factory stickers still in place. New Tires have about 500 miles on them, has spoke wheel covers with the spinner stars. 3 of which have a broken tab. Car runs great, shifts great, idles great and is a delight to drive, all lights work as they should. Although this car is not a show car it wouldn't take much to make it a winner. There is only one small 1" tear at the seam on the top of the backrest on the passenger side, (easy fix).The only thing I can think of that's bothersome whatsoever is that when at steady speed the car will lightly stutter, or maybe its just me and I'm far to anal. With that said: if you think you're bidding on a new car please don't bid, this is a 1965 classic with its own little quirks, doesn't drive like a modern car so if that's what you want stick with the 2010's. This car can be driven anywhere, I'm the 3rd owner. Second owner bought it in Phoenix Arizona in 2002 comes with all original paper work and documentation from previous owner. Last owner drove it from Phoenix to Tulsa with his then 7 yr old son. The only thing ever done to the motor other then common tune-ups is the new fuel pump. Other then that its ALL STOCK!!!! Car has no funny noises, whines, whistles, clatters or anything... Its a smooth and solid car, I drive it here and there from time to time so it may have an additional 20 miles on it when you get it.. I drove car today and realized I forgot to mention last week I broke off the turn signal arm, it appears fixable with super glue if you have time otherwise figure a plastic turn signal part, also the glove box push button has the key lock and is fully functional but wont stay in place with out a touch of scotch tape (it needs the pin on the tumbler again an easy fix) lastly the driverside rear door needs a new plastic lock. These items would make this car completely and 100% functional. I've received phone calls and emails for additional pics which I plan to take tomorrow (Sunday). **UPDATE** 5/16 As promised I took a few more pics, although the sun was starting to set I wasn't able to take some of the pics I wanted, as you can see the under carriage, fender wells, trunk area are COMPLETELY RUST FREE.. I just realized the car has the ORIGINAL carpet !!!! as you can see in pics carpet is in great shape, original Chevy floor mats?? I don't know, but everything else appears to be complete and in good shape, the trunk still has the mat under neath the spare tire which is also in good shape and is not deteriorated.
