Up for auction is a 1987 Monte Carlo LS. This car is a great vehicle for parting out or repairing. There are several things wrong with it. The car is from the northern area and road salt has taken its toll on the floor boards, the drivers side is heavily rusted but could be patched or completely replaced. The vehicle will run but has a bad wrist pin. Towing or flatbedding it would be the only option. The tranny pan gasket leaks and windshield has a crack in it. However.... The panels are all in excellent shape aside of the front right, theres a small dent in it but not hard to bend out. The frame is solid and wheels roll smooth. Everything is there and original. The paint is good and vinyl roof is in excellent shape. I purchased this vehicle with these problems with the intention of replacing the motor with something Bigger. Floor pans can be replaced and arent to expsensive. Cosmetic damage can be seen in the pics. Parting out this car could fetch a pretty penny but I just dont have time and will be relocating and cant take it with me. She is a nice car and needs a good home.
