Normal 0 1987 Ford F250 auto transmission with 460 engine This would be a good parts truck or with some repairs could be a good work truck. The 460 engine sounds real good and doesn't smoke. The transmission seems to work fine but I have only driven it around the yard. This was a ranch truck. It probably doesn't have a lot of miles but got a lot of use. This truck does run and drive but has not been on the road for several years. I have a clear title and the Texas plates are good for several months. Although it runs and drives, it would need several repairs to make it road worthy and be able to pass the state inspection. The engine, transmission and rear end all seem to be good. It needs these items for sure and maybe some other repairs to be road worthy - brakes work but need repairs, tires are all bad, horn doesn't work, has a bad starter solenoid, wipers work but need blades, driver side window doesn't work. I'm sure all the belts and hoses would need to be replaced. I was going to fix it up and use to pull my car trailer but changed my mind. View and listen to the engine running and truck in motion:
