*****Please Read Carefully Before Bidding***** Up for auction is my BABY. This car has been completely "resurrected" by me. This is a 4 owner vehicle and I am the 3rd owner that I knew personally. The first 2 owners were friends of mine but did not have the time, energy, love, or finances to care for this car the way I have. The 1st owner was a female. The car was purchased for her by her father and was driven for the majority of the miles. The body of the car has 220,020 miles on it. The 2nd owner was my close friends wife. He bought the car for his wife and replaced the motor at 123,000 miles. After she got done driving it for a while they had children and that was the end of the 2 seater days. Here is where I come into it. This car was sitting in their garage for the past 4 1/2 yrs. I didn't even know they still had it until they were moving to a different house and had no where to put it. The car has been so completely reliable that I have driven the car to and from work for just under a year now. It has a fresh inspection and emission from the state of Va. The car has had the oil changed regularly and there are no leaks, squeaks, or burning of any kind. There is a small rattle of the fire plate, but that can be fix by merely taking it off it's just rusted (you can see in the pics). NOW FOR THE MODS: Pioneer 7000BT--Fully installed and complete with Ipod connector and mic for hands free driving 4- Sony 5 1/4" 4 way interior speakers 18" Rally White and Chrome Rims with a 2.5 inch lip with 4 brand new tires both purchased in March. Electric Blue underbody neon kit with interior on /off flip switches Exterior professional designed and appealed vinyl decals. Lower springs ( This car is very low to the ground) Hand-crafted shift boot with "secret compartment" shifter. *****Extras***** A complete set of orginial rims with tires (12/32) left on the 2 front (3 OEM and 1 aftrmrkt) OEM spare Access to a JDM turbo motor ready to be dropped Now there are thing you will need to know about this vehicle. The driver's side window had the motor replaced and it was connected backward. So when you push down the window comes up, and when you pull the button up the window goes down. The accelerator clip for 5th gear doesn't hold with hard acceleration. This means that when in 5th gear it will slide out of gear if you slam down on the gas. There is no problems with the transmission, with the shifting, or what any other gear. Just 5th slips out (sometimes). The car gear doesn't grind or squeak or anything like that either. It shifts smooth as silk in every other gear and even in to and out of 5th. It just slides out sometime. It doesn't do it all the time. Like it never happens when the car is in cruise control. I live in the DC metro area...I rarely got into 5th gear so it was not something that really bothered me at all. There is a small dent over the right front head light. The light works perfectly, it's just visible from the out side. It happened when a tracker trailer backed into the front of the car. Other than a few other small clips missing the car is in mint condition. Please Also Be Advised: This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. On May-14-10 at 06:55:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention in the mods: aftermarket racing pedals..... steering wheel cover 3 pre-wired flip swifts for (ie. fog lights, interior neons, etc.) And to the winner if wanted....I will purchase and install the interior neons to match the exterior ones prior to pick up or delivery. It was something I was going to have done anyway. The guy just called me yesterday to tell me they were in. (just an option as a BONUS)
