Paperwork indicates this 1967 Mustang coupe was purchased new in Nov. 1966. The original owner residing in San Jose California. The original sales contract shows a purchase price of $3244.88 + 129.80 sales tax. The total being $3394.68, down payment of $694.68, balance $2700.00 with monthly payments of $85.13. It comes with its original owners manual. There are also numerous pieces of paperwork including invoices & repair orders from purchase date to current. All information comes from the owner, most of which is documented in the paperwork. Upon the passing of the original owner the car came to the daughter in Moscow Idaho. The current owner then purchased it from the estate of the original owner. The car has always been adult owned, the current owner being 76 years young. It is not only a California car but comes from a non-smoking owner. It is always garaged inside and well kept. Invoices indicate that in 1993-94 the car received extensive rechroming, buffing & polishing of the trim pieces & bumpers. The trim is currently in like new condition. In 1994 the car was professionally repainted in its original color & a new vinyl top installed. The paint is very nice as is the vinyl top. The car is an original matching numbers car. All glass is original. Interior, seats, door panels & headliner are all original & in good condition. Only fault inside is the radio tuning knob will not change the dial. The push button tuning knobs are working and will change the station. The car has new carpets & floor mats. The trunk area has its original mat with a new spare tire cover. This car is equipped with a 289, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and factory air, which is in working condition. In June 1992 $750.00 of engine repairs were made including headwork, valves & lifters. The mileage at that time was 99522. As of this writing the car shows mileage of 3485. Most recently 2 new rearview mirrors were installed. A new dual exhaust was professionally installed in April 2006. The local Ford Dealer went through the automatic transmission in August 2007.
