Please Read Prior to Bidding. This auction is for serious BUYERS ONLY! Please read, understand and ask any questions prior to bidding. 1980, L-82 Corvette Automatic transmission. Power steering, Power brakes, A/C, Factory Front & Rear disc brakes. Black on Black L-82. As I’m sure if your reading this you already know that 1980 was the last year the L-82 was offered and it’s the most sought after of these era corvettes. New tires with zero miles, fresh paint and a very nice and clean interior. Starts easy and seems to be a lot faster than any of the other late model C-3’s I have. This corvette has headers and the exhaust and undercarriage look to be in good condition. This is a sharp car and I’m reluctant to sell it; but my plan is to sell most of my collection and order a 2010. I just don’t have the time to spend on all of them. If you have never owned a C-3 Corvette please ask all your questions and try to do some research before bidding. They often need minor attention and maintenance. This for the most part is the fun of having one of these classics, and fairly inexpensive if you can do it yourself; however taking them to a dealer or Corvette shop can get pricy. Shipping: Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer; however I am willing to help in any way by making arrangements and or dropping the car off to the shipper. With a vehicle of this age I would recommend shipping or using a car trailer for longer distances. You never know when a hose or belt might fail. Viewing and Inspection: I make every effort to be as factual and honest about my descriptions as possible; however these are my opinions, and as such I recommend serious bidders to inspect the car prior to bidding. I’m sure if you view in person you will be willing to bid higher. I will accommodate all requests to pre-inspect this vehicle by yourself or your agent or an outside firm (like EBay inspection service) prior to the close of the auction and as my schedule allows. I have no problem if you would like to car-fax this vehicle. Please feel free. Payment and Deposit: A deposit of $500.00…NR will be required at the close of the auction via Pay-Pal. Final payment by cash in person or check is due within 7 days, and or arrangements made. All checks no matter what kind must clear prior to the vehicle and title being released or shipped. The fastest way to pay is by wire transfer. A legal bill of sale can be Faxed or emailed upon receipt of the deposit. This car is sold as is where is. Warranty: This vehicle does not come with any warranty. With the age of this vehicle it is the buyers understanding and responsibility to insure its mechanical safety prior to its use. It is also the buyers responsibility for there states vehicle inspection. I have only driven this car a little, but I have looked it over quite well, however it’s possible I have missed something. Previous owner removed the A/C compressor, but it is included and the entire a/c system is intact. Both glass tops have cracks. Recent oil and filter change, recent transmission fluid and filter change. I have replaced many worn items and currently have a new a/c heater control clear lens on order. It will be included or installed prior to delivery. Title states mileage is exempt. Bidders with Zero or negative feedback must contact me prior to bidding or your bid will be cancelled.
