The body looks straight and the paint is shiny and bright and looks good overall, but it does show some dings, scratches, etc. The tires are a match set with ok tread. The windshield does show some typical road wear, rock chips, etc. It has the typical scratches/dings/dents/rock chips that you'd expect, that are consistent with age and use on a 1998 SUV, but it still has an overall nice look. Please take the time to look through the pictures and contact us with any questions. Interior The interior of this Ford is in overall good shape. The upholstery looks good overall, but does show some wear and blems here and there. The carpets are in good shape overall, but do show some blems. The headliner has a good overall look to it. The air blows cold - we ran it for over 30 minutes while taking pictures. It has NOT been smoked in. It has the typical light scuffs, blems, etc. that you'd expect on a used vehicle, but it still has an overall good look to it. Please take the time to look through the pictures and contact us with any questions. Mechanical This vehicle always had its oil changed at 5,000 mile intervals and was ran on Mobile 1. The V8 starts right up but idles rough. It shows a check engine light and is mis-firing on two cylinders (according to the ODBII scanner). The horn doesn't work and neither does the driver's side power window motor (although it may be replaced as we still have the lifetime warranty from the parts store). We don't think the rear window windshield wiper does either (but we never used it anyway). Comments It could be an easy fixer - but that is up to you. This is why it is being sold. As soon as the check engine light came on - a couple months ago - it was parked and has only been started a few times. We already have 4 other vehicles, didn't drive this much (as you can see by the mileage) and don't have the time or interest to fix. We did have a friend change a couple cheap parts (plugs wires, etc.), but didn't want to pursue it for more than $100. We are tired of it taking up space in the driveway - so its gotta go! As this is a no reserve auction, this vehicle will be given to the highest bidder. Bid often and good luck.
