You are bidding on a 1950 F3 with flat head V8. When I bought this truck, I bought it just for the engine as it has been rebuilt and is in excellent shape. It runs like a champ. However the truck is just in too good of shape and I hate to take the engine out. The engine is an 8BA engine - has been rebuilt and purrs like a kitten with that sweet flathead sound. It has new points, plugs, plug wires, coil, condensor, and voltage regulator. New fuel line, rebuilt carburetor, all new brake lines, and new brakes on each corner. I have installed most of the new wiring and have the rest of the new wiring that will go with the truck. there is also a new CarQuest oil filter that will go with the truck as well. I purchased a new OEM oil bath and it is installed on the truck. Most of the mechanical work that has been on it since I've had it has been done by a local mechanic who specializes in refurbishing 40's and 50's models. My youngest son took the truck on a drive a couple of weeks ago and put about 10 miles on it. Although I can't verify it, I do believe the 53,778 to be the actual mileage. The fenders and hood were taken off by the previous owner so it could be painted. It does come with a new owner's manual and genuine Ford script locking gas cap. Reserve is set far less than just the flathead engines have been selling for on ebay.
