Vehicle Detail

As much as I hate to do this, you are looking at a 1972 Camaro. It is NOT an RS or SS. It is just a standard model from the factory. The only options it came with was power steering and rear defroster along with the radio. It was ordered with the small V8 with the Saginaw 4 speed transmission. Original Cranberry Red paint and the rare White interior. The engine was too tired for me to do anything with. So just over the winter I put the 350 4 bolt main with a mild cam. It purrs like a kitten and sounds really strong. I put a new clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing in it and bolted it up. All that is left is to replace the linkage. I was going to go with the Hurst competition kit. My intentions was to put it back to original as possible to cruz to the car shows with my kids but do to economics have decided to sell the car. The body is very solid for an OHIO car. The trunk is solid except for the man made hole for the battery cable. Which I have moved back to the front. Floor boards are great but it needs a small patch just under the gas peddle. Everything on the front end is all new. The guy I got it off of was trying to build a 1/4 mile car. So he says... The front fenders are fiberglass and has a 3-4 inch cowl hood. The passenger's fender has some damage to it. I also have the original steel hood and hinges. The rear quarters are very nice but does have some mud in them. I do have one full quarter skin for it. I have all new body seals and felts and a ton of parts that go with it. The frame has been tied and the rear rails look good but needs repairs or replaced. But are not that bad. I do not have a welder, skill or money. The doors are clean and have been recently reskined. Drivers door still need pins in it due to it dropping a little. Passenger's door is fine. Please look at the pics and ask questions. There is a lot of money in this car and with only 65,000 documented miles on it. It is well worth the investment. My loss, Your gain. All the glass is there. It is very close to being finished. Just needs your touch. I can keep going but I think the pics will speak for themselves. The car is sold as is and it is a project car so will need to be trailered. I am being as honest as I can and the reserve is realistic. I do not know what the gearing is in the rear end but it is a full 10 bolt posi. Checked on prices for the rails and the most I have seen for new ones are $270.00 each. I am not a body man so this would be a real deal for someone who is. Trim tag reads as follows...
