Sometimes the best laid plans of mice and men are for naught. I found this E-Type in a horse stall on a bed of wood chips in 1997. It hadn't been driven since 1981. Absolutely rust-free with 65,000 miles, I brought it home. Retiring in 2 years, it would be fun to restore. Ended up busier in retirement than before. Have worked on it in spurts over the last 10 years. Got it running and it runs well. Haven't had it on the road. It needs some minor body work and it's ready to paint. All glass has been removed and stored. All of the glass, trim, lights and chrome are in good shape. Here is a list of things I've purchased over the years. . Exhaust system (installed) . Air and fuel filters (including the spendy one in the tank) . Hose kit . Rubber trim kit . Dynamat (for center consel) . Deluxe carpet kit (Classic Jaguar) . Front shocks . Some upholstery .
