Vehicle Detail
1973 HONDA 750 FOUR This bike was in perfect running condition before setting in storage for almost 7 years. NO RESERVE Up for auction is a 1973 Honda CB 750 Four – Bike was stored for almost seven years. I purchased this bike from a widow; her husband was a Volkwagaon mechanic and owned his on business for many years. He was very meticulous about the upkeep on all of this toys. I bought a 2000, Harley Davidson, XLCH, 1200 S, Sportster from the same lady that was in mint condition after being stored for almost 6 years. I bought this bike for my step-son last Christmas with the idea in mind that he could learn to work on the bike himself and actually ride with his mom and I, unfortunately she I are no longer together and he has no interest in this bike, so it came back to me. Currently I have no place to work on bikes or I would get it back on the street and sell it for a lot more than this auction will bring. The bike has 36,022 original miles on it. Below is the condition of the bike: The bike has a clear Texas Title. · The bike appears to be all original – I’m a Harley guy so if something is not original on the bike please point it out to me as a question in my listing · Inside of the tank will need to be cleaned and re-sealed along with a new petcock valve – kits for this are sold on eBay · The carbs will no doubt need to be rebuilt · Engine turns over with kicker but the bike needs a battery · The bike still has all the fluids in the engine, transmission, and primary · It sat in my new garage since December of last year and there was NO oil that dripped or leaked onto the garage floor – please note in the pictures no oil leaks appear after being driven down the road on the trailer you see in the pictures either · Chrome fenders are in excellent condition · Chrome spoked wheels are in very good condition · Chrome pipes are in excellent condtion – these are the OEMs not aftermarket stuff · Tires are weather cracked · Brake master cylinders are working, the brake fluid is old now and the brakes just need a good cleaning and possibly pads if you are going to go that far with them · The side panel on the left side is cracked and will need repair or replacement · Paint on the tank is in amazingly great shape · The seat has one bad area and it has tape on it · Overall if you are into these older Hondas and love to restore, rebuild or tinker with bikes this one is well worth your time and the little bit of money to get it back on the road. · Email me at spclops_1@yahoo.com for more photos or questions, and my phone number if we need to talk – I have many more pictures than ones in this listing · Pick up only – DO NOT ASK ME TO CRATE OR ARRANGE FOR A BIKE HAULER IF YOU ARE OUT OF STATE – I simply do to have the means to crate. A hauler should be the buyer’s responsibility to assure the bike arrives in the condition expected after purchase. · This bike is also listed locally in the Dallas / Ft. Worth / North Texas area – for that reason I reserve the right to cancel my auction at any time · Bike is sold as is – No Warranty is Expressed nor Implied CB750-2316461 Pay Pal deposit of $300.00 requred 48 hours after auction close - no-refundable if you back out!!! You may also pay the entire 'Buy It Now' amount using Pay Pal if you desire!!
