1988 Mercedes 560 SL. First, the autocheck shows a minor accident in 1990 (20 years ago). It runs and drives great. This 560 SL has only 78,xxx original miles. I drive this vehicle everyday that I can. In the Chicagoland area it is a hit or miss with the weather. This vehicle was bought new here in Illinois and has never left the state. I have the entire service records, owners manual and keys. It shifts smoothly and accelerates great. It idles as it should. I am the third owner of this vehicle. It appears to have had some bodywork around the lower rocker panel and front corner of the hood. The vehicle paint is what I would call a 10 footer. It looks awesome from 10 feet. I would recommend a full paint job at some point, but it looks great for 22 years old. The interior of the car is in above average condition. It shows as expected for the year. No rips or tears. It has the original equipment. It has the rear medical box, spare tire soft black and hard top. The tires are almost new and are filled with nitrogen. The brakes stop as they should. I do not have the measurements. The soft top has rips in the rear window corners of the top. I would recommend a replacement ($350) The hard top is in above average condition. I get constant compliments on this car. I am extremely critical so most may except the imperfections more than I. I am as accurate as possible with the description.
