This a one owner car. I bought this car new as my last pleasure before serving in Vietnam and was with me in Germany where it was king of the road -only Porsche's had the capacity to win in the open road- It has been stored in our garage in Maine since 1980 - as the accumulated dust shows- with the idea that some day I would come back and do the necessary TLC and return to the road. for many reasons this is not going to happen soon, as such it is time to find a new owner. The car has gone around the mileage clock twice, and was driven into the garage when it was placed in storage. it has not been touched since - there are no photos of the front as there is no room to take them and with the two front tires being flat (surprisingly the rear tires are OK) it is not practical to move the car until it goes to its new home. the engine (standard 429 ci four barrel carb.) and transmission have the natural wear of the mileage, the war was serviced regularly ( the people at the Ford dealer considered me a pain, since being a pilot I demanded the same level of maintenance as our helicopters) the body has some rust, and the rear fenders have been repaired due to a couple of hit and runs. As such there is some bondo under the panels, and a lousy paint job. happy to answer any and all questions on what is not generally covered here.
