Up for auction I have my beloved VW Beetle, she is a 1998 and has 103448 miles on her. She was my daily driver and I commute 60 miles per day until about a month and a half ago, but I have become disabled and cannot drive a stick and I also need the money to pay bills so I am selling my beetle. The good- I just put over $1000 alone for a/c into her in October for brand new a/c including compressor, condensor, dryer & expansion valve and it is ICE COLD, she had a tune up including wires and plugs, air filter & fuel filter and in Late Nov she had 2 brand new tires put on the back and she also had a brand new windshield a couple months ago. Windows are tinted. She has a nice aftermarket CD player and upgraded speakers. I am a non-smoker. She runs without any problems and she has been very good to me. If you have never driven a Beetle they are fun, comfortable & handle very well. Notice- there is no sunroof, ebay put that in there & I can't remove it! The bad- this stuff is all easy fixes and very minor but I am very specific & picky- she does need a headliner, it is up & in place very well but with tacks, the interior-seats are all in good condition however the previous owner must have left the windows open at some point because there is alot of staining on the cloth and it is light tan, the front are worse than the back- they are pretty good, there are also typical VW Bug issues with the interior such as the glovebox won't stay shut so it is wire-tied closed- not permanent- if you want to take it off you can, it has a wobbly cup holder, drivers door grab bar is wire-tied to keep it sturdy, can't open door with key from drivers side but can from passenger side and the check engine light remains on, all this is very common with the bug, that is about it for the inside. The exterior has a small dent on passenger side by taillight and clear coat is peeling on rear bumper. These things can all be fixed easily but it never bothered me enough to do it or have it done, I bought the car just like this. I am located in New Port Richey, FL and I prefer cash at pick up. It can be seen and test driven if you would like to come out. If you are not local I require a non-refundable paypal deposite of 10% of the selling price within 48 hours of auction end and balance at pick up within a week unless prior arrangements have been made before bidding.
