NO RESERVE-1969 PLYMOUTH ROADRUNNER CONVERTIBLE H5 CODE AIR CONDITIONING 383 PROJECT-MOTOR TREND CAR OF THE YEAR-NO RESERVE DETAILS: This no reserve auction is for a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner Convertible air conditioning project . Factory options included the 383, 727 Torque-Flite transmission, black bench seat, column shift and of course the H5 code air conditioning. The vehicle has a trunk and interior full of parts. The dash and floors look clean. The trunk pan and rear quarters should be replaced on a car of this caliber. Included will be a non-matching numbers 383 block (pistons-needs rebuilt) with a date of 1968 and two (2) 727 Torque-Flite transmissions. 2,128 total convertibles were produced for the Roadrunner in 1969, compared to 33,743 for the coupe and 48,549 for the hardtop coupe version. How many convertibles are left? And how many convertibles were ordered with air? See the numerous pictures for the condition. This is a clean rare H5 optioned air conditioned convertible project. The convertible top's latches, frame and motor are present. Not pictured, but present, are the following: Cylinder heads, intake, 383 hood inserts, 2 transmissions, torque converter, headers, headlight bezels and grille assembly, rear kick panels from the interior, front and rear seats and frames look good, alternator, starter, H2) pump, radiator, driveshaft, fan, numerous-2 bins full- of bolts and trim pieces, plug wires, ignition, etc. Glass-driver's side is all there. Passenger side front wing window is intact, but door glass and rear is gone. These parts are all nice condition as this car did not sit rotting outside. This car was disassembled for restoration, inside, and never put back together. These are the parts I could see, I did not turn over these listed parts to look for more. The car is full of additional parts.
