If you are a true motocross fan, you probably already know who Justin Weeks is. If you are new to the sport or someone who doesn't follow the racing end of things, I will fill you in with a few details. Justin was an up and coming rider from Cincinnati OH who through incredible hard work and determination, was making his way to the top of the sport. Winning uncountable races through his amateur career, he went on to sweep Loretta Lynn's on his RMZ 450 with moto finishes of 1, 1, 1 against Malcolm Stewart and other top riders. Not too long after Loretta's he was at his first Pro National at Unadilla where he finished an incredible 19th overall. Following the Budds Creek race tragedy struck. On August 30th 2009 at Freelin MX in Brown City, MI with only a couple of laps remaining in practice, Weeks was flying through a section and hit a kicker that sent him over the bars and left him paralyzed from the chest down. After his surgeries and initial hospital stay Justin had only one thing on his mind, to walk and ride again. His journey since that day at Freelin has been an amazing one filled with determination and courage. Justin is now able to move his legs and feet, ride a road bike up to 7 miles, tear up the back yard on his Zuma, walk up the stairs of his home, and just the other day he stood up on his own for the first time. The issue now is that the feeling has not returned just yet. He can feel pressure but it is basically like his body is asleep at all times from the chest down. Justin attends therapy 5 days a week. Most days leaving early in the morning and retuning home after most people's day are far over with. We believe that with continued therapy and financial support Justin will reach his goals! Below is a description and rundown of MOST of the items that go with the bike and items that have been donated for the auction. The only thing you see in the pics that are not on the bike are the 121 number plate graphics. I will not let the bike go if I cannot raise enough money to help Justin. This bike is the bike Justin Rode to moto wins at the Loretta Lynn National in the 450 class. It is one of the factory team bikes that Justin received while riding for Suzuki. This is not your everyday RMZ, this bike is rare and few people ever get the opportunity to own one like it. After that race Justin practiced on the bike a few times and then it was torn apart and the motor was gone through. Justin's dad, who is also his mechanic, kept a very detailed paper accounting for every minute this bike was started. The entire bike has only 8 hours on it. The motor build has 2hrs and 10 minutes. The motor features a TLR cylinder head that has been fully ported, upgraded valvetrain including Kibble White Valves, upgraded springs, etc and a new piston and rings. The suspension has been fully worked to Justin's specs and is amazing. The bike is in amazing condition and is like nothing I have ever seen or rode before. I can't explain how smooth the clutch is, how hard the motor pulls, how perfect the transmission shifts. or how good the suspension works. This auction will come with thousands in extra's. Things like repacking the swingarm bearings, suspension linkage, steering stem maintenance, lubing cables, etc. Just because the bike has extremely low hours doesn't mean it hasn't been gone over after every ride. These bikes have to be perfect and this one is no exception.
