You are looking at a 1968 Oldsmobile 442. ALL numbers matching. rear end, motor, tranny (original 442 shifter missing, replaced with Mr Gasket shifter), etc...the motor is an original 400....has original carb, intake, the only thing missing is the air cleaner but it does have the original header style exhaust manifolds.(marked X and Y). it has the C heads. the number by the oil filler tube reads 396026G, which is the 345hp motor from the factory. It is connected to the original muncie M21 four speed close ratio. and that is connected to the original 12 bolt posi rear end. with a rear sway bar. I am the third owner of the car. The man i bought it off of bought it for his sons first car in 1974 out of florida. it has 80,000 original miles, i have the clear title in my name. I have not tried to get it to run or start. the car has been sitting since 1980. I do not have a set of keys. all the windows are in really nice shape...no cracks or scratches. all the stainless trim is in good shape. no dents or scratches. i do have all the trim for the car except one wheel well molding. i bought it for a project car and i just have too many projects around and the car will need ALOT of metal work. i would almost just find a different solid body to make a transfer with. The interior The dash is in perfect shape. not stiff, not cracked, not faded. Non AC dash. The tach is in good shape. its the 7000 tach. two front seats are savable. the headliner has two little holes in it. seatbelts are nice. no back seat. This is a low-option car from the factory. No AC, no power steering. no power windows. no power seats. THIS CAR DID NOT COME WITH A CONSOLE FROM THE FACTORY. i have the 442 fender emblems. they are not on the car. this is a real 344 VIN car so dont tell me its not a real 442. if it does not sell in two weeks i am hauling it to scrap. tired of low ball offers. i know what its worth parts wise.
