This is a RARE edition of the Honda Magna. Commonly known as the SUPER MAGNA. This style was only produced in 1987 and 1988. The only year black was an option was 1988. It is estimated that only 3300 of these bikes were manufactured in 1988. With half of them being red, this bike is probably 1 of less than 1500 bikes produced by Honda like this. The overall condition of the bike is very good. It is 22 years old and shows normal wear and tear for the age. I have owned the bike for the past 5 years and have had no issues with it mechanically or electronically. There is a small mark in the top of the tank. The handlebars were adjusted back to far and one of the throttle cable elbows scraped the top of the tank. It is shown in detail in 2 of the pictures below. The tires have some tread left, but will most likely need to be replaced this season. The exhaust has been drilled out to give it a very aggressive deep sound. The bike is ready to ride. The battery was replaced last year. The bike has been garage stored for the past 5 years. It is maintained on a charger over the winter. The passenger seat is removable to give the bike a custom hot rod single seat look. The bike starts quick and runs smooth. She finds that the bike does not suit her and she would prefer to have something else. The bike is located about an hour north of Indianapolis and two hours south of Chicago. The buyer is responsible for a $500 deposit. The balance will be paid when the motorcycle is picked up or prior to shipping. ALL shipping arrangements are the buyers responsibility. I will meet a transport company to ship the bike, but I will not crate it. I have a trailer and will consider delivery at a cost of $1 per mile round trip within 150 miles. (i.e. 100 mile delivery fee would be $200) Payment for the bike and delivery fee will be paid prior to delivery.I have title in hand. This motorcycle is listed as is with no warranty.
