1980 Suzuki GS

This is a very nice1980 GS550E that I have been working on during winters for the last few years. I buy parts bikes and bikes to build in the winter to pay for racing dirt bikes in the woods and treat every project as if I was selling on a show room floor. I have been working on bikes both proffessionally and recreationally for over 25 years. I do not believe in reserve auctions, I clearly post what the bottom dollar I will accept so there are no games. I will tell you everything i have done. Engine has completely been gone through, carburetors have been boiled out, sync'd and jetted for the exhaust, it runs perfect, sounds great!, gas tank was completely stripped inside and out and tank liner sealed with proffessional grade tank liner not that junk from the motorcycle shops, tank was painted in lacquer with a clear top coat, brakes were taken completely apart including the calipers, cleaned and rebled, work perfectly. New parts included the following: Bikemaster motorcycle brand battery, Parts Unlimited clutch cable, Bikemaster foam grips, Bikemaster superbike type handlebars, aftermarket turn signals and air filter element. The bike has very good tires, seat has some spots along the bottom edge that are torn, all lights work including the turn signals flash very well, header megaphone has a few rust holes on bottom. I require full payment within seven days and bike picked up in Clinton Iowa within fourteen days, after that there is a $1.00 a day storage fee you will incure. I live in Clinton Iowa around three hours from Madison WI and Chicago IL. I am not able to ship this bike but I am willing to deliver for a small fee to a local shipping dock.
