HOWEVER TRYING TO GET THE ENGINE NUMBERS OFF THE BLOCK HAS PROVEN TO BE DIFFICULT SO I WILL TELL YOU WHAT I KNOW FOR SURE...THIS RIDE IS FINISHED IN TRIPOLI TURQUOISE METALIC DONE A COUPLE TIMES OVER IN IT'S LIFE.BODY SHEET METAL APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL TO THE CAR AND THERE IS EVIDENCE OF SOME TYPE OF DEALER APPLIED RUST PROOFING BOTH WHEN NEW AND RE-APPLIED OVER TIME AS PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE.ALL DOOR, HOOD, TRUNK GAPS ARE REALLY GOOD AND FIT AND FINISH ARE ABOVE AVERAGE.UNDERSIDE OF CAR IS UNDERCOATED AND FEELS VERY SOLID WHEN TAPPED ON, AGAIN I WILL HAVE TO SAY THAT I FIND NO CONCERNS OVER THE RIGIDNESS OF THIS CONVERTIBLE.PAINT APPEARS TO BE BE APPROX. 7 TO 10 YRS OLD, LOTS OF SHINE OTHER THAN THE COMMON SMALL PAINT CHIPS OR SCRATCHES COMMON TO REGULAR DRIVING. (THERE IS A DEEP SCRATCH THAT HAS BEEN TOUCHED UP ON BACK SIDE OF REAR SPOILER).INTERIOR IS ORIGINAL TO THE CAR AND IN GOOD SHAPE, NORMAL WEAR!!! (THERE IS A SEAM SEPARATION ON TOP OF PASSENGER SEAT BACK AND SMALL TEAR ON PASSENGER SEAT BOTTOM)... I HAVE REPLACED SEAT COVERS IN THE PAST AND YOU WOULD SPEND LESS THAN $150.00 TO BUY THE COVERS AS A SET... EASY FIX...ENGINE RUNS TIGHT, STRONG, WITH NO HESITATION WHATSOEVER... EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE GM AND AS IT SHOULD.-INTAKE AND CARBURATOR HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH A MORE PERFORMANCE ORIENTED 4BBL VS THE PROBABLE 2BBL IT CAME WITH.(I DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL CARB OR INTAKE FOR THIS CAR).POWER TOP IS LIKE NEW AND IN GREAT SHAPE. THERE WAS NO EXPENSE SPARED THERE!WHEELS ARE 15X8 CHEVY RALLIES WITH SOLID CENTERS AND TRIM RINGS(NOT THE PLASTIC STUFF YOU'D PAY A LOT FOR AND END UP WITH JUNK). THESE ARE THE REAL DEAL!!! BASED ON SIZE OF WHEEL AND TIRE COMBO THIS CAMARO SITS REALLY NICE AND LOOKS LIKE IT SHOULD BE A LOT ANGRIER THAN IT IS.THERE IS A NEW DASH PAD INSTALLED DUE TO THE OLD ONE CRACKING OVER THE YEARS FROM SUN EXPOSURE.NEW FRONT NOSE BUMBLE BEE STRIPE WAS ADDED FOR OVERALL APPEARANCE, I LIKE IT WITH IT, BUT IF YOU DON'T IT'S A VINYL STRIPE AND YOU CAN REMOVE IT...WHEEL OPENING MOLDINGS, NEW LETTERING, NEW DOOR HANDLES, AND NEW CHROME BUMPERS PUT THE SHINE BACK ON THE CAR AS IT SHOULD!
