Vehicle Detail
If you are looking for an amazing opportunity to own a very nice, predominately original 88 Turbo, then read on. We are making room in our garage and this is the first one to go. This car very rarely gets driven. We have decided to sell it despite our daughters dismay and we are taking a MAJOR hit on our investment. We just don't drive it and need the room for other cars. I am a long time Ebay member with almost 15 years and 100 percent positive feedback, and have been a PCA member for longer than that. It has taken some time to get the full history on this car as it was not fully disclosed when we bought it, but read through the description before you move on. I have over 36 grand in this car. The car is listed as as having a salvage history, It was sideswiped on the drivers side before we purchased it. I do not know how this ever gave the car a salvage status. I have received all documentation on the repairs, and there is no way it should have caused a salvage. When I bought the car I had a clear title. I transferred the title to Virginia and have a clear Virginia title in hand, however Carfax is saying the car has a salvage history. We have tried to get it changed, and cant, so with that said I have to list it this way. The car is fully functioning and absolutely beautiful. Everything is original except the stereo, speakers, AC system, and exhaust. Full synthetic Mobil one oil always. Three thousand dollar full Billy Boat stainless exhaust system with headers, heat, and muffler one year ago. Plugs were replaced at that time, Valves were adjusted and new valve cover gaskets installed. Almost 4 grand spent on a retro air complete and full 930 AC upgrade kit. Everything on this car's AC system was replaced from front to back. This included all lines, compressor, driers, filters, auxiliary cooling fans as well as the condenser. 36-40 degree air temperatures at the vents depending on the ambient temperature. The car has auto heat, which was not functioning when I got it. All servos and rods in the auto heat mechanism were replaced. Heater boots between the heat exchanger and the body were replaced, as well as the heater flex lines between the heat exchangers and the engine fan. Sensors work correctly and the heat in this car will absolutely run you out of it in the dead of winter. All climate control sensors in the dash work correctly including excellent defrost. New wiper blades. This car has the rear wiper option which was also replaced and functions correctly. Fog lights are intact and work correctly along with all other lights on the exterior and interior of the car. Third brake light. Interior in this car is an 8 out of 10. There is some minor wear on the carpet but carpets are clean. Seats are in excellent shape with no cracking or splits. 8 way power seat option on both sides and all work correctly. There are no cracks or splits or imperfections in the dash. All gauges work as they should including the boost gauge and the clock. All interior lights work on the door switches when you open the doors, as well as the hood light in the trunk. Dash lights all work properly. Dual power mirrors which function properly. Power door locks. Power windows, and passenger door window motor was replaced about a year ago. Power sunroof works correctly, no leaks. Headliner is in excellent condition. I installed a new CD / bluetooth head unit as the original Blaupunkt that was in the car was not functioning. Speakers were replaced with Infinity speakers throughout, and the system sounds amazing. Car has rear defrost, intermittent wipers, all of which work correctly. I have all original owners manuals and documentation from when it was new as well. Documentation shows the repairs to the car as the following: (All OEM) New left apron, new windshield, new bumper cowl, new left front fender, new hood, new hood hinge, new fuel expansion tank, new washer tank, new charcoal canister, new bumper, new headlight assembly, new hood shocks, new front valence, new rubber spoiler, new bellows, replaced the battery, new front left and right Bilstein shocks, new left front A arm, new ball joint, new tie rod, front end alignment completed. Brakes were completely gone through with all new pads and fluids, and wheel bearings were replaced. I also have a brand new set of cross drilled front rotors that go with the car, never mounted. The original exhaust also goes with the car as well as a cover. Kinesis wheels, tires are 80-90 percent. 315's on the rear. The paint looks stunning on the car, with one imperfection on the hood if you catch it right, and some rock nicks from everyday use. This car will never be perfect due to its history, but to look at it, it is absolutely stunning and fully functional. This car is always garaged, never driven in the rain or left outside, fair weather only. There are no liens and I have a CLEAR Virginia title with a current Virginia inspection. Car is for sale locally, I reserve the right to end the auction early. Car is represented accurately and honestly. I have nothing to hide and EVERYTHING is documented. Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and pickup. If you have negative feedback or less than 5 feedbacks you must email me before bidding. This is a wonderful opportunity for a wonderful car. No gimmicks or half assed work was done on this vehicle. It is a gorgeous 930 that will provide years of service and comfort. It needs absolutely nothing and you could drive it anywhere without hesitation. Good luck.
