This very rare limited spring edition 1979 Coupe Deville was originally sold new on April 24th, 1979 to a Mr Ralph J Forsberg of Longview, Washington. The Cadillac was delivered with 14 miles and was garage kept and driven until 56,271 miles when sold on March 16Th, 2006. The Coupe was shipped from Longview, Washington to Manassas, Virginia, the new owner owned two other Cadillacs and only used the Coupe on weekends and was driven to 61,799 miles until sold January 2nd, 2010. I have been told by several members of the Cadillac club that this 1979 spring edition was called the Chicago Coupe and came with a optional numbered dash name plaque and a factory installed leather steering wheel cover. It does have the original leather steering wheel cover in excellent condition, but shows no signs of having the dash plaque. The motor is the 7 liter 425 Cubic inch with a 4 barrell rochester carb, automatic transmission, power windows, power locks, am/fm 8 track with power antenna, dual power seats, driver's arm rest, intermittent wipers, light sentinel, cruise control, climate control air conditioning, rear defrost, wire wheel covers, power disc brakes, power steering. The factory gray leather with black leather inserts and red piping interior is in excellent condition and shows no wear. The dash pad has no cracks, the original Cadillac floor mats are in good condition. The 2 tone smoke silver paint with tuxedo black paint is in excellent condition. The chrome and stainless trim along with the factory wire wheel covers have been kept in very fine condition. The matching factory padded vinyl top with opera glass windows with side lights is in excellent condition. There is absolutely no rust and is in pristine condition. This Cadillac runs, performs and drives like new. I just had the air conditioning charged with R12 freon on April 27th. The only option not currently working is the power antenna. You will not be disappointed with the condition. The climate of Washington State and the care of the owner's has kept this Coupe Deville in premium condition.
