Vehicle Detail

UP FOR AUCTION IS A VERY CLEAN AND VERY RARE 1988 FIERO GT. GREAT PERFORMANCE AND EXCELLENT GAS MILEAGE IN A TRUE COLLECTOR CAR. I HAVE ADDED AFTERMARKET WHEELS BUT ALSO HAVE THE UNIQUE 1988 STYLE WHEELS. EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER INCLUDING THE AIR CONDITIONER. THERE ARE TWO MINOR FLAWS IN THIS CAR, EACH OF WHICH COULD BE REPAIRED FOR VERY LITTLE MONEY. OR YOU COULD JUST DRIVE IT LIKE IT IS. THE DRIVER'S SEAT HAS A TEAR IN THE LEATHER ABOUT 2 INCHES LONG. THE REST OF THE INTERIOR IN IN GREAT SHAPE. ALSO, THERE IS SOME PAINT CHIPPING AROUND THE SUNROOF. NOTHING MAJOR, BUT WORTH MENTIONING. BODY IS GOOD AND STRAIGHT WITH NO RUST OR NOTICEABLE DENTS AND DINGS. THESE CARS WILL BE SOLD TRUE AUCTION STYLE WITH NO RESERVE, BUT I HAVE BOTH LISTED LOCALLY AND RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION IF THEY ARE SOLD PRIOR TO THE END OF THE AUCTION. I HAVE SEEN 1988 MODLES LIKE THIS GO FOR AROUND $7500, SO SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET A GREAT DEAL ON THIS ONE. THANKS FOR LOOKING. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK. I'LL DO MY BEST TO RESPOND. On Apr-30-10 at 20:23:43 PDT, seller added the following information: OK, here are the photos you have requested. First, the wear I mentioned on the driver's seat. Not out of the ordinary, especially for a 1988 car, but it's the only blemish on the interior. Next, the paint peeling around the sunroof. Again, not bad, but you would want to repair this if you wanted to make this a show car. Finally, someone had asked for a photo of the original 1988 front wheel which is unique to the '88 model in that the honeycomb part of the wheel is flush with the polished lip of the wheel. On previous years there was a one inch inset on the honeycomb portion. As I stated, a small detail, but something a serious Fiero restoration would include. I have the aftermarket wheels shown plus all four original wheels. This car is one of about 2000 built and is already a collector. With some attention it could be s show car. Thanks for the questions, I hope the photos will show that the flaws are very minor and that the people who asked the questions will step up and bid.
