Pontiac Grand Am SE '99 V6 Nice Running '99 Pontiac Grand Am SE V6 for sale. 162,022 Mileage Car has very reliable for our family. Car has been sitting for about 5 months since we decided to purchase a mini van. I start the car about once a week to make sure it is turning over well. Car has a brand new battery. After market air intake and exhaust. Tires bought early last year and have approximately 85% of tread left. A/C does not work, talking to my mechanic the compressor works, he believes its the condenser but i have not had any work done to fix it. Basically right now i have 3 cars and i do not need the Pontiac. It is a used car so what you see is what you get, but it has been reliable for us for the time we have had it. Drove it around today and still running great!! PRO'S : Runs excellent. Have not had any serious issues since i obtained the car. Running great up until i parked it. Has after market exhaust and air intake. Great pick up, and sounds awesome. Good gas mileage. Very sporty. Very nice to drive. Almost new tires. Oil changes every 3500 miles. Spark plugs and wires new at the beginning of last year. Brand new battery. New paint job early last year although there is slight paint chipping on the rear bumper.CON"S: Air not working, has usual wear and tear of an older vehicle. Very slight paint chipping, There is no car jack and wheel housing cover in the trunk is missing so covered it with a sheet of ply wood. The Check engine light is on ( i had this checked and there were no codes) It has been on since i bought it 3 years ago, my assumption is that it is to do with the after market in take or the fog lights (which i also believe are after market). Driver window once in a while has a fit, but with a couple of flicks on the window trigger it always goes up without fail. Front breaks may need to be replaced in the next 6 months or so. Lets face it, its a used car, but a great buy for what you get. I would keep it if i had use for it but as stated i now have three cars and the pontiac has got to go.
