We bought this from the second owner last year and put it in the barn. Spring cleaning time is here and we are going to sell it, low reserve on a ready to drive car. A real nice example of the 1989 107~560SL which is the most desirable of all of the 86-89 SL's. Finished in smoke silver metallic with brown leather interior, the car has its original dash, seats and door panels. The carpets are nice. We put a new timing chain and tensioner in the car right after we acquired it. This 560 runs very well and the air conditioning works. It has an Alpine AM-FM CD. The soft top is good, probably 5-6 years old, no tears and clear back window. The factory hard top is with the car, also a stand with the factory top cover is here. We have some books for the car. The leather interior is above average, original, but good. The seats are above average, but usable just fine, the driver's seat is a little loose. The dash is original and near perfect. Under the hood is exceptionally clean. A new under hood pad is being installed right now. It has real good tires and the wheels have been refinished and look nice. Some paintwork to make it real clean but no damage ever. The original VIN tags are on each panel. The body is very good, it has a little paintwork in the rear that looks good, no damage history and a super driving Mercedes Benz 560SLInterior; The leather is good, the original dash is near perfect (RARE) smells clean and fresh appears to be a non smoker car. The wood around the shifter has some lacquer cracking, readily available, there is a 2" piece of faux wood missing on the dash. The carpets are good, a little faded in the rear by the package tray. It has speakers mounted in the rear.Mechanically; Very Good, the A/C is cold, the cruise is inop, starts and runs great. New tires and new Bosch battery. Drives down the highway great at 75, no wobbles or worries.
