Up for auction is a 1984 Chevy Camaro Z28 with T-Tops. This car is pretty good condition needing a only a few minor things. The exterior needs paint, factory paint is peeling, the passenger door has a little bit of rust on the bottom, which is very repairable, but for being 26 years old it is in over all good condition. This car was mostly stored in the garage in the winter and is a second owner car. The interior is in good to excellent condition needing window seals, which i have new, cigarette lighter does not work, the cruise control knob on wiper switch. The engine runs really good, needing possible valve cover gaskets, and a possible coolant sensor and the reason is it runs normal temp running down the road, but when idleing the electric fan doesnt kick on until it hits 220 then drops to normal temp. This may be normal for this car. This is the first Camaro I have ever owned, and I have heard they run warmer than other vehicles. This car has 2 new rear tires, but will be needing 2 front tires soon. The air conditioning was redone and was switched over to 134A. This car also has a positraction rearend along with the 5.0 HO engine. The transmission shifts good as well. I think this would make a GREAT car for a first time driver or someone who really desires the Camaro! With a little bit of work you could have a really nice classic!! I also have a repair manual that will go with the car along with the clear title. This car is being sold AS IS with no warranty! The car is drivable, but I havent owned the vehicle long enough to know all the details. If you dont feel comfortable driving a long distance please bring a trailer. I have only driven this car a couple times and a short distance and everything seemed to be working fine. If you have any questions please ask BEFORE the end of the auction!!
