Vehicle Detail
1969 Pontiac Le Mans Project Car- The car was in the process of being turned into a drag car (not by me). It appears to originally have been a floor shifted bucket seat car. Also, the metal around the front windshield and rear window is in good shape. There is minimal rust on the vehicle; however, there are holes cut in the trunk and floor pans to accomodate a roll cage. There is also a section of trunk removed for the placment of a fuel cell. The glove box and glove box door need to be mounted, but are in the car, the front valance is also in the car along with the transmission crossmember. There is no interior. All of the glass on it is in good shape. There are no brakes on the rear axle, most of the brake hardlines and master clyinder are missing. The front brakes are disk. Moroso drag springs and Competition Engineering shocks all the way around with polyurethane bushings in the rear control arms. This is a rolling shell. There is minor rust in the front fenders. The rear wheel wells have been radiused for a 31" tall slick. The front and rear bumpers, grill, head and tail lights, are in good shape. The GTO hood is buckled on the driver's side. Comes with a Le Mans hood also, but it is also buckled on the driver's side. I'm assuming the engine that was previously in the car was mounted with front engine mount plates. There are no motor mount pads on the crossmember. There are 4 Chevy rallye wheels on the car 3 are good. It is possible for this car to be street legal. Spider gears in rear end are welded together. I am selling the vehicle for my son, we do not know the history of the car and it appears to have not been on the road for a number of years. Look at pictures, e-mail questions, bid with confidence. If you are local, you may come see the car before bidding, and please e-mail questions well before the end of the auction as the car is not on my property. Thanks for looking, good luck. Winning bidder responsible for pick up, full payment due within 5 days of auction close. No international, No warranty, No refunds. As is. Please study pictures carefully.
