Vehicle Detail
Description: You are looking at an “Extremely Rare”, “Original”, “Numbers Matching”, “Unmolested” 1983 Porsche 911 SC ‘Euro-Spec’ 2-dr Cabriolet 2+2P. This is your opportunity to acquire a “Mile Stone” at a “Low Reserve” price. VIN # WP0ZZZ91ZDS152172 Engine: H6/183 cid, 172 HP, eight main bearings. Bosch K- Jetronic fuel injection, overhead cam/air cooled with 80,000 Original Miles! Transmission: 5 speed manual in rear transaxle Paint: Original Red. ‘Never Been Repainted!’ Interior: Factory original ‘black leather’, ‘unmolested’. Options: As you can see by the pictures, the vehicle comes with ‘all’ of it’s factory delivery components. ie: original radio, tool kit and bag, safety kit, medical kit and even the plastic sheeting for ‘roadside emergency’ provided by Porsche. Also has the original date coded wheels. Condition: This vehicle was purchased ‘new’ in July of 1983 by a German business man (Klingspor Abrasives). He took delivery in Germany at his residence there, then had the car shipped to Hickory, NC (USA) to his American residence after it passing DOT and EPA regulations. His sole purpose of buying a ‘Euro-Spec’ car, as all Porsche enthusiasts already know, was to have a ‘non’ euro driven automobile with euro performance (compression, gear pattern etc.) He also knew the car would be desirable due to the last year production of the 911 SC and the first year production of the 911 SC “CABRIOLET” (Porsche’s first open car since 1965) Reason for Sale: This automobile has been ‘meticulously’ maintained by the one shop that the current owner ‘trusts’ to maintain his ‘rare’ 930 Turbo Collection. He was in the market for a 930 Cabriolet, in this condition, when he found this car being offered for sale. Being the ‘purist’ he is, he just couldn’t pass it up and besides he has known the car since ‘day one’ and also is a good friend to the original owner. We are ‘in hopes’ of finding a ‘good home’ for this car meaning it deserves to go to a Porsche Enthusiast and Purist. Finalization: Buyer is responsible for any delivery or shipping charges. Winner of this auction is required to pay a $500 deposit within 24 hours of closing of this auction! Car has clear title. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours to discuss their intent in finalizing this auction. The balance will be paid before car is delivered or picked up by anyone. Balance must be paid within 7 days of closing of this auction. Personal or third party inspection and all due diligence are to take place prior to vehicle purchase. Balance of auction will be paid either by certified bank check or bank wire transfer. There is no warranty on this car, so please ask questions before bidding. Sold “As Is”. This is an auction with a ‘low reserve’ price. No trades. Please do not ask what the reserve price is as it is not fair to other bidders.
