Up for auction is a 1953 Chevy 210 2-dr Sedan/Post. This was a long term project that was nearly completed when the owner lost interest and decided to sell it. Nearly all parts are here to finish the car - lots of new parts as well as NOS. 3 - 4x8 shelves full of parts from 6 other '53 Chevy 2-dr cars go with it (Air cleaners, heater boxes, headlight buckets, 1/4 windows, radios, speakers, heater cores, etc) It has the original 6-cyl engine with 3-speed manual transmission. Engine has been overhauled and all parts either painted or powdercoated. Rebuilt front end - all new bearings, seals - all parts blasted, painted or powdercoated. Firewall was painted the original baby blue before the engine was reinstalled. Needs wiring and a few misc items done to start and run. Body is complete: Good straight hood, good solid fenders, solid rockers & rear quarters, tail panel below trunk lid is really solid, very nice doors, good straight roof with solid window channels, nice trunk lid. Floors have had some very minor patch work but were nice & solid. Body has been stripped, straightened and is in urethane primer surfacer with black guide coat - very little work to be ready to paint. Windshield is brand new - never installed & back glass is nice original. Has all the side glass, 1/4 windows and garnish moldings. Wheels are stock - Tires are "roller" quality. Car rolls very easily. Clear Kansas title. Vehicle is being sold AS IS. Buyer responsible for transportation. $500 Deposit due within 72 hrs of sale end - balance due within 7 days.
